3 Charming gites in the beautiful Perigord Vert region of the Dordogne, perfect for summer holiday rentals, short breaks, property hunting trips and winter breaks. Bel-Air is situated on nearly 8 acres of planted, peaceful gardens and woodland with a beautiful duckpond, Table tennis, Volleyball/Badminton Court, Boules area and a very large swimming pool with views across gardens and woodland. Our gites are furnished & equipped to a high standard including UK Satellite TV, DVD & CD players to ensure that our guests have everything required for a relaxing holiday with their own spacious garden, it is situated within the peaceful grounds. We also have free WiFi available. Ideally located close to the River Dronne and the beaches and stunning views at lake Jamaye. Bel-Air is an perfect base for exploring the whole of the Dordogne, as we are within an hours travel from Bergerac, Perigueux, Angouleme, Cognac, Brantome, Bordeaux, Sarlat and Dordogne River.

Fully contained kitchen contains gas hob, Fridge with Freezer box, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee maker and dining area. Living area is equipped with Oil burning stove, TV with English channels, DVD Player, CD cassette and radio. (DVD library available). Outside area contains patio furniture, parasol and BBQ. A selection of Games and books are available and Travel cot and highchairs available on request. Hairdryers, Iron & Ironing board all available on request. Lake Jamaye - with a gorgeous sandy beach, vast lake, swimming and watersports, childrens play area, fishing, cafe and bar. Saint-Aulaye with small supermarket, bars and restaurants, Tourist Information and beach on the river with kayaks. We are located on the outskirts of a quaint, pretty village with a small bar and shop, picturesque Roman church, Post office and local Mairie. Within One hours drive there are plenty of sights to see and activities to do, from Caves and Chateau's, historic churches, beautiful Lake side walks to Adventure activities for children.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Security deposit of £100 required on all bookings.

    Heating is included in all prices and bed linen and towels are provided and changed weekly.

    We request that you clean the gite thoroughly on your departure or if you prefer a charge of 30€ can be paid on arrival for the Gite to be cleaned after your departure.
  • Bookings for less than 1 week will be charged as follows:

    Low Season: 3nts - £130, each additional night - £27.50
    Mid Season: 3 nts - £190, each additional night - £40
    Christmas Period: 5nts - £280, 6 nts - £315.
  • We request arrivals after 2pm and that you depart your gite by 12 noon on your departure day, however we understand that flight times may not run along these times and where possible we will try to be as flexible as possible, least of all provide storage for your belongings until your gite is ready or it is convenient for you to depart

A Perfect Holiday.

We have just returned from our second holiday at Bel-Air. Everything there is absolutely perfect.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Gites to anyone and have already given the website to friends and family.
Our two children aged 10 and 12 love the swimming pool and table tennis. We love the peace and quiet!
We have stayed in many Gites all over France and Bel-Air is by far our favourite and the only one we have been back to and will continue doing so all the time that Zoe and Darren will have us!
Thanks to you both.
We look forward to seeing you next year

Booked last minute. Wasn't sure what to expect. All i can say is, the photos don't do it justice. The place is fantastic, the hosts are fantastic and everything that goes with it is fantastic. Beautiful! Most definitley returning next year.

We had a lovely time here. The gite was comfortable and clean with all the basic facilities you need. It was quiet and peaceful and the owners - Zoe and Darren were friendly and helpful. We had our own garden area and the grounds are extensive. Particularly impressive was the recently refurbished swimming pool which is kept immaculately clean. A good place to stay for couples or small families.

A Hidden Gem! Great for Families, Couples

Our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 children, ages 5,3,1) stayed at beautiful and laid-back Bel-Air for a week in July. There was plenty of room for our children to roam and explore, we also enjoyed playing badminton and bocci ball as a family. Swimming in the lovely pool surrounded by the scenic countryside is a very fun memory of this location. The owners, Darren and Zoe, are delightful and very friendly. They loaned us DVD's for the kids and also made the clothes washer and dryer available to us. The gite was clean and cute, and perfect for family dining. We also liked the charcoal grill provided.
We loved visiting the nearby market in Riberac. We also used this location for visiting many of the pre-historic caves in the region and several charming towns. All of these were within a few hours driving distance. (You will need a car, this is in rural France). It was easy to find places to go, because each gite is equipped with a book full of brochures about local sites and events.
A very family friendly gite; would also be a wonderful romantic getaway, with lots of privacy and a very relaxed atmosphere.
