Casavecchia alla Piazza is a small farmhouse and a organic winery located in the hearth of Chianti Classico, between Siena and Florence, and it has belonged in 1500 to Michelangelo Buonarroti's family. The property offers a comfortable and separated apartment with an independent entrance and a lot of open space in a relaxing atmosphere and unspoilt countryside. It is surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and woods, with old dirt roads offering opportunities for wonderful walks and biking.

This spacious apartment is on two different levels and was originally an old barn which we have completely renovated. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms fitted with showers, a living room with fireplace, a dining room and a kitchen. There is direct access from the kitchen to the old threshing yard surrounded by green which looks across to Panzano’s Conca d’oro valley, one of the most famous and evocative in the Chianti Classico area. Tuscan terracotta, great chestnut beams and period furniture all help to make the Capanno particularly welcoming and create a very special atmosphere
