Spent one hot and sunny, August week in this second floor apartment as a family of 5. Air con was great- as the temp' outside soared to 40 degrees plus. Two adults slept in Bed 1, two children in Bed 2, with 3rd child on bed setee in lounge.
Apartment is spacious, and large open terrace (where you could just about see the beach) made the whole apartment more comfortable and spacious.
It was well equipped with washing machine, TV, stereo, good kitchen equipment and towels galore. We filled one suitcase with a selection of beach and bath towels to bring with us- none needed!
Electricity did trip once (easy to re -set), due to apartments in block having low amp supply.
We rented the apartment in mid August (hence heat) so beach nearby was fairly busy. Even so, locals were very welcoming and the tourists were predominantly Italians from the mainland who were friendly. All cafes and restaurants that we visited welcomed the children.
Beach was approx 1 minute walk from apartment, which was sandy and clean. Pedalos, sailing dinghies etc could be hired for about 10 Euros per hour. Swimming was safe- lifeguards were on duty and wave breakers formed a lagoon effect about 200 metres from shore.
Apartment was 5 - 10 minute walk to old town (scenic) and only 15 minutes drive to airport which made transfers quick.
Price we paid in August reflected the demand in accommodation in high season, but with cheap Ryanair flights it was a very reasonably priced week in the Med for a family of 5. I would certainly recommend the apartment.
