On one of Antibes main tree lined Avenues, located on the 2nd floor with the original lift with wire door encased by a wide spiral marble staircase, this Art Deco apartment has been extensively refurbished in November 2007 to a high standard. As you enter the apartment the open plan fully equipped kitchen/breakfast bar leads through French doors on to a 'Romeo & Juliette' style balcony, with bistro table & 2 chairs. A drop leaf table in the kitchen seats 4 more formally and a built in dish washer & Meile washing machine are for your convenience, together with smoke alarm & fire extinguisher/blanket for your safety. The lounge is in neutral decor with original parquet floor and a ceiling fan, A Sony TV & DVD and cable TV with CNN, Sky news and WiFi. The two almost equal sized bedrooms benefit from built in lit wardrobes, high ceilings with ceiling fans and original parquet flooring & sage coloured shutters. The luxury bathroom has a walk in double shower, bath and large basin.

Everything on your doorstep! across the road is a Artisan bakery, organic food shop, dry cleaners, even a Carita of Paris nail bar..! On the 5 minute walk to the main square where the fountains play, you will find banks, post office & internet cafe, in the other direction towards the train station a 3 minute walk, you will find a convenience store and Hertz car rental. The marina, beaches, old city wall, provencal market in the old town are an easy 10 minute walk. Take day trips by train to Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Menton and Ventimiglia (Italy) for the Friday market.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are per week and quoted in Euro and are inclusive of bed linen and towels.
    A deposit of €200 secures your booking. The balance of the rental is payable four weeks prior to the start of the let or the full amount if less than four weeks. Payment may be made by bank transfer in euros, the sender pays bank charges.
    The price and availability is as shown, this web site is 'live' and updates automatically.
  • Upon arrival, you will be met at the apartment and given two sets of keys and the security/key deposit of €500 in cash will be collected at this time, this is fully refundable on departure provided the apartment is left neat and tidy, nothing is damaged or broken upon inspection.
    There is a final cleaning/laundry fee of €70 for 2, €80 for 3 and €90 for 4 guests styaing which is payable in cash on departure.
    Ideally arrival time should from 4pm and departure at midday, but this can sometimes be flexible depending on bookings.
  • Please note: The apartment is strictly NON smoking for the comfort of future guests and NOT suitable for minors under 18 years of age, thank you for your understanding.

Local shopping: The two main supermarkets, Intermarche and Champion are open everyday, non stop from 8am until 7.30pm and on Sunday's from 8.30am until midday.

local area: There is much local history to be discovered walking through the old streets of Antibes. Wonderful old stone buildings, food markets, Bric-a-brac and clothes markets galore. If you want to explore further afield, the train station in Antibes takes you west along the coast to Cannes, with the designer shops and where the famous film festival takes place. Or take a train to hillside town of Grasse, famous for its perfume. East on the train will take you to Monaco and across the border into Italy, less than an hour away. Great for a day trip. Juan les Pins is also a lively area, just across the other side of the Cap, 5 minutes drive.from the apartment. Famous for its Jazz Festival and beaches. During the evenings Juan les Pins turns into a buzzing place, street entertainers, restaurants, ice-cream parlours & late night clubs. There are fantastic coastal walks to be taken from the apartment round Cap d'Antibes, a walk up the hill to the lighthouse and chapel is not be missed.

Perfect apartment in Antibes

Centrally situated, everything on your doorstep, first class bakery across the road, supermarket, many restaurants and the old town all within 2 minutes walk.
Newly refurbished, light and airy apartment, beautifully maintained with every quality mod con. Care and consideration has been taken in every detail to ensure a most comfortable stay.
Would certainly recommend and hope to return ourselves next year.

Lovely Apartment and Ideal Location in Antibes

My husband, our grown daughter, her friend and I spent 2 weeks in this lovely apartment in the center of town. The location was wonderful. We were a few minutes walk from the local beaches and the train station to other Cote D'Azur locations. There were many convenient buses nearby that talks to various towns and locations in the area. We really enjoyed walking around and going to the beaches in the Cap d'Antibes as well. Juan Le Pins was only a 15 minute walk for this location. We were able to attend the Jazz festival and then return to our peaceful apartment after the performances. We loved to cook and we appreciated the lovely provencale market located within a 5 minute walk from this location. The apartment was nicely decorated, very clean and well designed. We enjoyed the Art Deco touches in the apartment and as part of the building. We also enjoyed the books that Liam provided in the apartment which gave you a good opportunity to acclimate yourself to the area and appreciate the architecture. The owner provided outstanding customer service and was very attentive to all our needs. We had maid service during the stay, so our apartment was kept tidy. We had stayed in the Cote D'Azur many times before, but never in Antibes. As a family, we now feel that Antibes, given its location and array of entertainment, beaches and activities, was probably one of the most ideal towns to live in and make as a base to explore the region. I would highly recommend this property to a friend or family member who wanted to stay in the area.

Perfect base to explore the Cote D'Azur

I was lucky enough to spend seven weeks in this apartment while finishing a novel. The owner has done a wonderful job in equipping this place with everything anyone could possibly want or need from luxury linens to jewelled bottle stoppers should you find yourself unable to finish that bottle of red. The apartment is clean and light and has plenty of character. There is plenty of room for four people to stay without tripping over one another. But the best part for me was the location. I became a regular at the baker, the butcher and the beauty parlour, which are all right across the street. You are five minutes' walk from the beaches and the old town. You are also fifteen minutes door to door from the centre of Cannes and just five hours and twenty minutes from Paris! The train station is so convenient, I used it like a tube stop, dashing over to Cannes for pilates classes (Lifetree Pilates) and to Nice for the shopping. Antibes is a TGV stop so you can also easily venture further afield. It's ideal if you dont want to have to rent a car, though if you do decide you need a car to go somewhere like St Paul De Vence, there is a Hertz rental office right by the station.

I very much hope to spend more time in this apartment in the future.

I know I'm slightly biased but I feel this is a very unique apartment as it combines character with modernity, elegance with practicality and is slap bang central for everything you should need without worrying about the expense (or carbon footprint) of a car!
I look forward to Chrissie's next stay and reading her latest novel which was partly pened at chez nous!
