Mas pilet du Gres is a charming & beautifully restored, romantic stone farmhouse situated 3 miles outside the lovely town of Beaucaire. Beaucaire is on the Provence & Languedoc border. St Remy-de-Provence, Arles & Uzes are closeby. Easily accessed my Motorway & local Airports (Nimes Airport 20 min, Avignon Airport 35 min, Marseilles 1 hour). This beautiful, large property has recently been renovated to a very high standard, retaining all its original character features. A perfect family home. Surrounded by vineyards and orchards, the house enjoys lovely views over the countryside. The swimming pool is ideally located in a stone walled garden; entrance via a door for additional safety. 2 acres of lovely gardens. There is a large, paved courtyard for outside dining; so romantic with old fountain, palm tree & huge fig tree. Arles - Roman capital of Gaul with many spectacular Roman remains & home to the Impressionist painters (Van Gogh, Cezanne etc) & Nimes with the best preserved Roman Temple & Arena in France. See the famous Pont du Gard & ducal town of Uzes. Beautiful beaches of Ste Maries de-la-Mer only half hours drive away. To get to Ste Maries, enjoy the spectacular drive through the Carmague & spend time in the Reserve Naturelle. Horseriding & biking are the best way to see this beautiful natural parkland with its flamingos & vast birdlife. Excellent shopping & sightseeing in Arles, St-Remy-de-Provence, Nimes and Avignon. Great restaurants all around. Only 20 mins from St Remy, Arles, Uzes, Mausanne. 30 mins from Avignon. Close to Alpilles.

Pool is maintained at no charge to guests. Childs Cot, highchair, pushchair, car seat available in house. A chef is available, but at guests own cost. Guests to negotiate themselves. We will provide contact details. Linen is provided (all cotton) as well as towels and pool towels - but must be laundered by guests (2 Miele washing machines at house). There is a local laundry in Beaucaire. All linen unlaundered at end of rental period will be charged and deducted from deposit. The kitchen is very well appointed including a large Smeg range - 5 burner hob and huge oven.

Photo of front of house: It is very difficult to capture on film the splendour of this house..... it would have to be an Ariel shot, which we do not have. The front of the house is enclosed by an ancient courtyard, so a long distance shot is impossible. Trust us - it is magnificent!
