This exclusive villa in Bonifati, Calabria is available to rent in the undiscovered southern tip of Italy where good food, sun and friendly locals will make your holiday a very special experience.

The villa has been finished to a very high specification and includes three double bedrooms. There are also two bathrooms. Villa Case Rosse is around 100km and just over 1 hour away from the airport of Lamezia, with direct flights from many international destinations.

Naples, Bari and Brindisi are other airports that are 3 - 4 hours drive away. As you would expect there are many, bars, restaurants offering tremendous value as your Euro goes a lot further here than in the rest of Italy. Inland the interior of Calabria is dominated by the Sila and the Aspromonte National Parks where skiing is available in winter.

  • Prices are for the property per week are in pounds sterling.
    All prices refer to a minimum stay of 1 week.
    We may be able to offer reductions on these prices for parties of 2.
    Changeover day is normally Fridays with arrival after 3pm and departure before 10am. However please contact us if you would like another day as we will try and accommodate your request.
    Bookings require a 25% deposit and the balance 8 weeks before the start of your holiday, together with a refundable deposit of £200 - to be held against any breakages or exceptional cleaning requirements on departure.

Notes on accommodation: Villa Case Rosse has recently been built. The villa is child-friendly and features a spacious living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms over two floors. The villa terraces, on both floors, are off the dining room, living room and two of the bedrooms and have stunning sea views.

Beach: The nearest beach is only three minutes away by car. There is a restaurant at the beach that serves food and drinks all day. There is always plenty of space on the beach even in the peak season. Italians tend to go for a siesta from Midday through to 4pm and the beach is usually deserted then! There are a number of bars and restaurants along the beach at Belvedere (10 minutes by car).

Golf: The local Golf Club has a nine hole course and is a 10 minute drive away, where restaurant, bar and swimming pool facilities are available.

Fabulous family holiday in Calabria

We spent a week in this lovely villa in August having spent a couple of days in a very busy Sorrento previously.
The villa is absolutely beautiful, very comfortable and very well appointed - every thing you could possibly need. Much more like a home from home than a holiday rental.
The location of the villa is stunning - fabulous views of the mountains and the sea. The swimming pool had just been completed when we arrived - the pool could not be faulted.
As well as a glorious infinity pool for all to enjoy, there is also a small childrens roped off pool area for small ones to cool down in safety. The gardeners were busy finishing off the landscaping which I am sure will look wonderful when finished.

Although you could be forgiven for wanting to spend all your time by the pool, there are also lots of very nearby beaches that had beautiful clear water and were very safe for young children. There are lots of interesting places to visit nearby, lovely towns clinging to nearby hilltops and a highlight for us was a morning spent at a beautiful nearby monastry

There are lots of excellent local restaurants serving delicious pizza, pasta and ice cream etc and also large well stocked supermarkets selling fabulous local produce if you want to self cater.

In summary, this was a very relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting in a place where many Italians choose to take their holidays.

A very greatful hayolid

We spent our beautiful vacation in late July, early August 2011 in the case rosse with beautiful sea view. The villa was very well equipped for our needs, so we had everything we needed.

The villa was our starting point for many excursions into the surrounding environment but also to Tropea. The city should be visited in any case.

The pool was perfect for us and especially for our children

An all around nice holiday, where everything matched.

Wonderful holiday!

Hello there,
What a wonderful holiday! We really enjoyed our time in Calabria, and the Villa Casa Rossa. Beautiful. The photos and description capture the villa and the area very well. The house is well positioned with beautiful views, and well equipped. We were a family of 6 with teenagers and young adults, and the villa was perfect for us. The directions you provided were spot on and the guest information you provided (restaurants, beaches, etc) was very helpful....we enjoyed the restaurants and the beaches! It was very hard to leave!
We hope to return .... one day!

A Villa in Calabria

We were lucky enough to have 2 months in this villa, from late August until late October 2010. The house is perfect for a family or a group of friends, it has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. It was a nice surprise to find the pantry stocked with staples (unlike many places where you have to buy everything from the salt to the dishwashing liquid as soon as you arrive). The views are stunning. The only real downside is that you can't easily walk to any restaurants or villages, which means you're a bit restricted, but then most of the time all you want to do is enjoy the outside patio or terrace with a cold beer or prosecco.

The pool is great, immaculately kept and great for kids and adults.

The area is quite remote, but this adds to the attraction. The nearby town of Cittadella del capo has a lovely market on Thursdays and a pasticerria where you can enjoy coffee and wonderful pastries. It is very quiet once the tourists have left after August, so if you like remote then this place is for you. September is ideal.

A great place to spend a week or more if you're lucky.

We would love to go back next year!

We spent 4 weeks in the villa and had a lovely time. You do need the car to get around since all the activities are down the hill and not 'walkable'. The people in the surrounding villages are every so friendly. Diamante has the best beach and fish restaurant and is a 15 minutes drive. There is a lovely pizza bar down the hill on a 5 minute drive. We would love to go back next year. Thank you!
