La Commanderie of Plaigne is a prestigious Cathar chateau and Commanderie of the knights of Malta set in the grounds of 4 ha. Completely renovated, furnished and decorated with taste, with family antiques. It houses up to 16 persons in 30 rooms, distributed over 1000 m²; 8 double bedrooms, 1 en-suite, 3 main bathrooms, 2 separate toilets, heating throughout, fully equipped kitchen, reception rooms, billard romm, 2 dining halls, and 3 drawing rooms with antique fireplaces, separate garage, TV, Internet. Housecleaning and gardening are included in the price of rent. Linens and towels are supplied. Located between Toulouse (45 min), and Carcassonne (40 min), 12 min from the medieval city of Mirepoix, 6min from the quaint village of Belpech with all facilities, 45 min from ski resorts and and an hour from the Mediterranean sea. If you want to rest with your family or your friends, this delightful cottage will enjoy you. Ideal for young children with the large park near the Cathar Castle. Nothing to disturb your quiet. All the area of Aude and Ariège departments very known for history and culture, allow you to discover so many romantic places and specific culinary experience.
