This stunning 3 bed penthouse is over three floors with a fabulous private rooftop solarium, BBQ and shower on the top. It is ideal for a family holiday or just a romantic break for two. In just a two minute stroll you have all the bars and International restaurants around the Tomas Maestre Marina. It is ideal to just sit and watch the sun go down over the Mar Menor with its fantastic sunsets There is also a large supermarket with fresh bread, fish, fruit and just about every thing you would want. From the marina you can go scuba diving, sailing wind surfing or just take the ferry to the other side of the Mar Menor for just 4 euros. The penthouse overlooks the communal gardens with its 3 communal pools and sun bathing area and for the more energetic there is a tennis court. A car is not necessary in this location because there are lots of things to do, but if you wanted to explore the rest of the strip you can hire a bike or take the bus which runs up and down the strip daily

This fabulous duplex Penthouse has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and views of the the Tomas Maestre Marina. It is on the 5th, 6th and 7th floor, there views just get better and better from the large balconies of the 5th and 6th floor and are amazing from the 7th floor solarium! The solarium has a gas BBQ built in and shower. There is a table and 6 chairs and sun loungers. The high walls surrounding the solarium give complete privacy from the neighbours, whilst not detracting from the 180 degree view over the Tomas Maestre Marina and Mar Menor. It has two double beds and two single beds. The separate fully fitted kitchen is fully equipped and the utility room has a washing machine. The penthouse has been furnished to a high standard of luxury, including leather suite and underfloor heating and air conditioning throughout.

This is a wonderful place for a family holiday or a romantic holiday for two, what ever you like doing you will find it on the La Manga Strip. You have the choice of two beaches, the calm, warm, crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor, ideal for your children as it is also very shallow, or in 50 yards the Med with it's wide sand beaches and rolling waves, ideal for wind surfing or fishing. It is an area where the Spanish like to go on holiday and you will soon find out why. Many visitors like to take the ferry to Sandiago de Ribera on a Wednesday for the market or just the pleasure of the boat trip. The Tomas Mastre Marina is a very pleasant place to take long leisurely walks, soaking up the sun and the scenery or just people watching or practising your spanish with the waiters. My favourite relaxation is to visit the restaurants on the left of the marina and watch the sun go down with a glass of wine of course!! Pure Bliss!!

There are stairs to the 6th floor and solarium On the solarium there is a gas BBQ, outdoor kitchen and shower. This is where we spend most of our time as it has fabulous views, especially as the sun is setting

Thank you: I just had to write and thank you for our holiday in your wonderful penthouse. This was the first time we had booked the cheap flights and made a booking of an apartment in this way on the internet. I was a bit nervous, but we were met at the airport and taken to the penthouse. As soon as we opened the door it was 'WOW' but when we went up to the solarium we were speechless!! We will be back, it was a great family holiday. It gave us the space and freedom, which you don't get in a hotel. The children loved the fact that they could play in the pool or go off on their bikes. We enjoyed the walk around the marina and the restaurants. It worked out so 'cheap' compared to other holidays, but so enjoyable!! We will now be able to take 2 holidays a year. Thank you once again Sue, Dave, Mark, Tina and Sam

La Manga Glub Golf and Leisure Facilities: For leisure golf there is a 9 hole pitch and putt just 3 km down the La Manga Strip, but for the enthusiast it is just a 25 minute drive to the 5 star La Manga Club, with its 3 golf courses and leisure facilities. This is a popular place for UK football teams to do their pre season or pre cup training.

1.Friendly and efficient dealings with the owner, Gill.
2.Warm welcome from Joanne the property manager.
3.Free use of tennis court for tennis mad 17 year old son.
4.Lovely pool.
5.Swimming in warm salty waters of Mar Menor.
6.Floating in warm salty waters of Mar Menor!
7.Ferry trip across from Marina to San Javier for only 4 euros.
8.Delicious caesar salad at cafe/restaurant near ferry point.
9.Choice of lagoonside restuarants within few minutes walk.
10.Knowledge that we can come back again without having to break the bank. We like a bargain!

Family had a marvellous week holiday. Apartment fantastic, very clean and well equiped. Loved African theme. BBQ and sun terrace great. Lovely views. Nice size pool, very cold.....
Enjoyed Italian restaurant Pizza mare in marina and Ben and Jerrys! Also loved Cartagena and Mercia Zoo. Will definately recommend.

Excellent Apartment

This is the best apartment we've ever rented in Spain.
Nicely equipped and beautifully located.
The marina is a treasure trove of wonderful restaurants and the whole area is upmarket with no sign of package tour yobbery.
Wonderful week and we'll be back later in the year.

The apartment was immaculate could not be faulted, it was extremely clean and well maintained. Very well equipped with everything you would need.

The customer service while booking the apartment and also while we were there was excellent. It was a very easy transaction to rent this apartment (Thank you Gill) and the housekeeper and the property management were very helpful while we were there.

We did find the area very quiet and if we go again would definately hire a car as we think it is needed in this area of La Manga.

The pool was not open (because of the time of year) but we did read this in the information before we booked so we were well aware.

We got the ferry (4 euros) across to San Javier a couple of times which had a nice beach and a market (certain days) and some shops so worth a trip.
Owner's Response: Hi Thank yo u for your comments, the La Manga Strip is very busy in July and August and fairly quiet out of season although you will always find bars and restaurants open and the ferry etc. We like it out of season, but it is nice to have a car out of season if you want to go sight seeing in the Region of Murcia. I am pleased you liked the penthouse, we have only just had it painted all the way through. I hope you come back again

Fantastic location, lovely apartment

We stayed here in Sept 08 and had a fabulous time. The rooftop terrace is just perfect for private sunbathing and long BBQ lunches and being just a 5 mins walk from the Marina makes for lovely evening strolls and sundowner cocktails. Booking this holiday was very easy and efficient. The housekeeper who met us with the keys was punctual and really helpful.
This part of Spain is a real hidden gem... we hired a boat (with skipper) one day which was excellent and of course no trip to this area is complete without a meal at Peter's Sailing School.
Our holiday was fun, relaxing and certainly made even more so by this excellent accomodation.

We have been out to the penthouse many times and have taken the ferry to Santiago for just 4 or 5 Euros, but we have never hired a boat and a skipper, what a wonderful idea, I will put it on my 'must do' list for our next visit. We welcome any recommendations from guests who have stayed at the penthouse.
