Mojacar Playa holiday house

Great location, close enough to the action without all the noise of the beach apartments closer to the bars! Access to the beach, supermarket and commercial centre literally all a stones throw away but the house is set in a quiet residential area with parking space - critical for the height of summer. The house is clean and well equiped bedrooms all comfortable with the benefit of ceiling fans for those warmer nights. There´s a local agent who can help with any problems and even provide a cleaning service during your stay. Chiriniguito/beach bar recommendations are Palo Alto and Neptuno for a good value ¨"menu del dia" Mar Salada for exquisite beachside location, music and great ambience in the evenings especially. Restuarants we like are Cafe 22 in the Parque Commercial for some fab cosmopolitan food and Torre Bahaia further along the strip for a good mid priced Spanish meal. Local markets abound but check out the Garrucha market on Friday especially for your fruit and vegetables. Be prepared to spend the whole morning there as it is big. If you fancy a day out take a drive to Cabo de Gata where you can find many beautiful beaches and stunning scenery. The coast road to Carboneras is a good way to take in some of this National Park. There is a good local bus service that runs throughout the day and well into the evening as well as the weekends. Some intercity buses pass through Mojacar, and there is bus that also runs regularily to Vera bus station where you can pick up buses to most of Spain. Access to the house from the street is by way of stairs which could be a problem if mobility is limited but apart from this the house offeres a great value holiday home.
