Slovenian Alpine House

A traditional Slovenian house located in a magnificent village location within the Triglav National Park. Located close to the lakes at Bohinj and Bled, it enjoys wonderful views of the mountains to the rear. The house offers excellent accommodation for up to six persons, and has a traditional kitchen and dining area, a lounge with TV, four bedrooms, bathroom, separate WC, and a garage for storing bikes, skis and other equipment. Nearby are walking and biking routes as well as access to horse riding, paragliding, kayaking and white water rafting, not to mention access to cross country and downhill skiing in the winter.

Our house is located in the Triglav National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty within the Julian Alps. It is as well close to the lakes at Bled and Bohinj, the house is near to two ski resorts. In the nearby town of Bohinjska Bistrica it is possible to take the car train to Most na Sochi, which gives easy access to the Adriatic sea and the Italian border. Also caves at Postojna are definitely worth a visit, as is Lipica, the home of the Lipizzaner horses. Our house is situated an hour from Ljubljana airport (served by EasyJet) and Klagenfurt airport (Ryanair and TuIfly) and about two-and-a-half hours from Trieste airport (Ryanair).
