This self catering chalet in large garden, with mountain stream and private woodland is situated very close to the main centre of Les Houches, 75m from the Bellevue ski lift and 200m from Priaron ski lift. Ski school, ski & bicycle rental, restaurants & shops are very close by. This three bedroom house has a first floor terrace with French windows opening south and west, looking down the valley - or admire Mont Blanc from your bed!! You can ski to the front gate directly from The KANDAHAR World Cup run. The chalet is decorated in traditional style and maintains many original features. First floor, separate kitchen 5 burner cooker, large 50s style fridge dishwasher. Large sitting dining room, bed settee x2.. Master bedroom with kingsize bed. Bathroom separate toilet Ground floor, entrance hall, large family room double and bunk. Room with bunk beds, toilet and shower. double garage / ski room. off road parking

How far are the ski lifts?: The Bellevue lift is right out of the gate, walk less than 100m. The priaron, is left out of the gate 200m. Both these lifts will take mountain bikes in the summer at no extra cost. They give access to the whole Les Houches ski area for walkers, cyclists and skiers. You can also access the Train de Mon Blanc, which takes you to the Nid d aigle, or to the spa at St Gervais.

The property is exactly as described. Position is good with space for two cars on the drive. A short walk to either parion or belle vue lifts with the black run coming past the end of the garden. The property inside is nicely furnished with plenty of sleeping arrangements and with the living room upstairs the views over the valleys and mountains are simply breathtaking. The resort is very good for the blue and red runners. Limited number of green runs mean they get very busy. Again limited for the very best skiers but chamonix is about ten mins drive up the motorway. Access from the motorway to les houches is the best about five minutes from the main a road finds you in the heart of the village. The snow for our trip was brilliant with plenty of snowmen made and snowballs thown. If you want a self catering family ski holiday for intermediate skiers look no further, the owners are very helpful and will do all they can to help you have a good time - we all did.
