Beautiful Alpine chalet, recently contructed with meleze wood, with geothermic underfloor heating and wood burning stove. Close to amenities. The accommodation is very flexible as you can rent either the larger 3 bed part of the chalet (130m2) or the 2 bed attached apartment, or both together sleeping 14 in total. It would be perfect for 2 families who want to be together but have their own space. The chalet has three bedrooms. one of which is on the ground floor, with ensuite shower room, so is also ideal for people with limited mobility. There is a large twin bedroom, and a bedroom with twin beds and bunk beds. Both upstairs bedrooms have a large balcony. We live nearby and can advise on activities. We also supply free loan of maps, guidebooks, babyequipment. The chalet can be let self catered or catered. The chalet has been accredited 3 stars by the tourist office, and 3 keys by Cle Vacance. ( it would have got 4 but we don't have a garage!) but there is plenty of private parking.

Apartment Meleze offers spacious and well finished accommodation situated right in the centre of Vallouise. It is a self-contained apartment that is part of a newly constructed beautiful alpine chalet tastefully furnished throughout. You have your own garden, two balconies, and private parking right by the apartment. The apartment is on the first and second floors. On the first floor there is a bathroom with a large shower, wash basin, and washing machine. There is also a separate toilet, a sitting/dining area with double sofa bed, TV,DVD and CD player, and ADSL internet access. There is a fully equipped kitchen with French windows onto a balcony. The kitchen has a standard size oven, a 4-ring electric hob, a fridge, coffeemaker and kettle, plus all the usual kitchen utensils. On the second floor there are the two bedrooms; Bedroom One has a double and a single, and Bedroom Two has two singles. The private enclosed garden, complete with barbecue and bench, lies directly underneath.

Chalet Chabrand is located 1 minute walk from the centre of Vallouise, a traditional alpine village in the Haute Alpes with weekly market. The Ecrins National Park, Ailefroide, and the Queyras Regional Park are all close by. We benefit from a superb micro climate giving us over 300 days of sunshine a year. Its true! We have 2 ski resorts very close. Pelvoux 3 kilometres and Puy Saint Vincent 6 kilometres - Family ski resort of the year 2004. Both resorts are sheltered from the wind so hold their snow well. We have fantastic cross country skiing from the chalet doorstep. Vallouise is the perfect centre to base yourself for many other sports such as ice climbing, paragliding, canoeing, via ferrata, mountain or road biking, hiking etc. We have the most fantastic wild flowers in Spring, and the Autumn colours are amazing. Perfect for nature lovers, botanists or painters. Whether you are an extreme sports person or just want to relax and take time out. Vallouise has something for everyone.
