This old finca is surrounded by a beautiful garden and stands in the middle of a very large property (7ha). It is located on a hill, 5-10 min from Santa Eularia by car. Its location guarantees total privacy and and a very calm environment. Being on a hill, it offers a stunning view on the island on 270°. It is a very exclusive environment! It sleeps 16 people on a main house and a guesthouse, which insures total comfort. The large pool is ideally situated, and there are many different places to profit from in full serenity: terraces, gardens... There is always a spot where you can rest in peace. In all seasons bur august, it is possible to rent the property for 10 persons maximum for a reduced price. See addendum in the rental rates section.

This property is situated on the east coast of Ibiza, the icon of the Balearic islands. It is located on a mountain, with stunning view 270? around, and absolutely no neighbours close by. This ensures absolute calm and privacy. Although the property is isolated on a mountain, it is still only 5 min drive to Santa Eularia, one of the three main towns of Ibiza. Santa Eularia offering all the facilities for shopping avoiding the crowds of Ibiza town... Santa Eularia has also its own Marina, with a diving center and many boat renters. Beaches are not far away: Niu Blau, Cala Martina or the northern beaches near San Carlos are all within a 10 to 15 minutes drive.

Notes: Guardians of the property are living there all year long, in a separate house. They take care of the daily cleaning included in the rental price, as well as they take care of the garden and the swimming pool. They are available to help our guests in whatever matter during their stay.

Great for a group of families

On the whole, we had an excellent holiday - by no small reason, this was due to the place we stayed at. We were 4 families plus a couple - and never did we feel the villa was too small for a 6 day trip. The villas, pool, outhouses and surrounding gardens are all beautiful and well maitained. The housekeeper/gardener couple, who live separately on the site, did a fantastic job in accommodating us all including moving beds and cots when we arrived and providing fresh towels, changing sheets etc whenever we needed it. The villa is also perfectly located to get into the family friendly resort, Sta Eularia, but well away from the bustle of the town - a perfect retreat. I would not hesitate recommending the place to a group of families seeking to spend time together around the pool and who also wish to go off and explore the island.

Our Stay at Can Planetas

I booked the whole property for a week for a group of 16 of us. Having stayed at many different villas on several previous visits to Ibiza, our expectations were high and I am pleased to say that we were delighted with everything about our stay at Can Planetas.

The situation of the villa was perfect for us - peaceful, secluded, yet safe with the lovely housekeeper living in a separate lodge on site, as well as being fairly handy for the local town, supermarket etc. The views from the property were simply amazing and there was so much space - lots of different terraces and well-kept gardens - from which to enjoy them. Both the main villa and smaller guesthouse were of equally high standard, tastefully furnished in keeping with the age of the properties and with lots of original and interesting features. The housekeeper and her family were absolutely delightful and ensured everything was kept clean and well-maintained and were in no way obtrusive.

The owner was very helpful and patient in answering all our questions prior to booking and his description of the premises was accurate. I would not hesitate about recommending this villa to friends.

A great time at the Finca

After having stayed in the finca during the third week of May, I can only highly recommend it to every one. This is by far the best place I have stayed on the island so far (compared with villa's on different locations in previous years). The place is located on a hill with great views and complete privacy. However, Ibiza town, airport, the beaches on the south side of the island etc are all easy to reach. Furthemore, the place is decorated in the authentic Ibiza style, has a great garden, nice terraces and a cool pool.
No to forget: the very nice housekeepers (young couple from Argentina who take care of fresh towels and bed linnen and cleaning) living in a seperate house on the property. I will surely come back.
