Villa Pettirosso is a classic Tuscan farm house with its own vineyard and olivegroves. The house is privately situated on a hill overlooking the stunning Tuscan countryside. This traditional style farmhouse captures the authentic charm and character of a Tuscan villa with its oak beams, terracotta flooring throughout, and brick arches connecting the kitchen, dining and living room. The house offers spacious, comfortable, yet stylish accommodation. The villa's hilltop setting provides panoramic views making 'al fresco' dining on the terrace a delight. Enjoy the Tuscan countryside as well as views of the pool and the valley below. Watch the sunset over the vineyard from the pergola. The surrounding gardens are laden with fruit trees; pears, walnuts, cherry and the driveway is edged by Cyprus trees and herbs. Alternate, lazy days by the pool with day trips, and soak up the atmosphere and the unique culture of Tuscany with its fabulous wines and world famous cuisine.

The Villa Pettirosso is situated 12km from the main Florence, Pisa, Livorno highway (Fi-Pi-Li) making it easily accessible from Pisa airport - approximately a 35 minute drive. Day trips to Volterra (approx 30 min drive), San Gimignano (approx 35 min drive) and Florence (approx 40 min drive) are made easy from this destination, and if it is the beach you are after the coast can be reached in an hour.

we spent such a wonderful time at the villa Pettirosso, i was there with my friends twice, once in Summer (Garden , Pool, Veranda...) and once in Winter (fireplace, confortable rooms). the landscape is exactly what you expect around a Tuscan villa, vineyards, olive trees, hills, flowers...shops are only few kms away, you don't disturb anyone and nobody can disturb you, so many good restauratns all around... and they offer even a private cook service and guided wine and food daily tours! i could stay there for ever!! i reccommend this place to everyone.
