The west lawn, features stone colonnades, antique fountains, a rose garden and a large lily pond which is used to breed Coy Carp. The villa offers a romantic escape under the backdrop of the beautiful Tramuntana mountains, yet it is only 3km. from the beaches of Port Soller.

The Villa is located in the heart of the historic stone town of Soller on the mountainous west coast of Mallorca. The central plaza in Soller is regarded as one of the most beautiful in Mallorca. Although nestled at the base of the dramatic Tramuntana mountains, the town is only 3km from the Port of Soller which has a number of sandy beaches, bars and many restaurants. The historic village of Fornalutx is only 5km or a 30minute walk, up the picturesque valley from the town centre. The village of Deia, which is home to many artists and authors is an easy 20mt drive from Soller. Robert Graves is buried in the church yard in Deia and his house is now a museum and well worth a visit. Palma is the capital City of Mallorca. It has a beautiful cathedral and the centre of the city is a tourist delight, wander around and soak up the history. An historic train runs from Soller to Palma, passing through orange and almond orchards as well as the ruggid Tramuntana mountains.

This beautiful Villa was totally renovated in 2007 and sits in almost an acre of ground in the centre of Soller. It is a private paradise, yet only 3 minutes walk from the centre of Soller. Surrounded by high stone walls, the expansive lawns and gardens include, wisteria clad colonnades, fountains,water falls and a lily pond. There are several outdoor entertaining areas, overlooking both the pool and the garden. The swimming pool is salt water and is 12m x 5m. Six teak sun lounges and large market umbrellas surround the pool. A small orchard forms part of the garden and guests are welcome to pick the seasonal fruit and take whatever is ripe from the vegetable garden. A gardener attends the property twice a week. Linen change and cleaning occurs on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday. If daily service is required, this can be arranged at an extra cost.

General Description

This Beautiful 18th century stone Villa was completely restored in 2007. The Villa can sleep 12, in 5 ensuite bedrooms and a studio in the garden. It is a private paradise located in the centre of the 1000 year old stone town of Soller. The Villa boasts large indoor and outdoor entertaining areas and would be ideal for two families to share. The 60sq. m. salt water pool is bathed in sunlight throughout the day and is overlooked by a covered outdoor entertaining area. The west lawn, features two beautiful fountains and a large stone colonnade which is covered in wisteria and jasmine throughout the summer. The west lawn is bound on one side by a large pond and water fall and on the other by a rose garden. From the rose garden guests can look down onto the vegetable garden and the orchard. Guests are welcome to help themselves to any of the produce in the orchard.

Location of Soller

Soller is a stone town on the north west coast of Mallorca. The Soller Plaza is regarded as one of the most beautiful in Mallorca and is surrounded by many bars and restaurants. The town is connected to Palma by a vintage train which passes through almond and orange orchards as well as countless olive groves. The Port of Soller is 3km from the town and can be reached by a tram that runs ever 30 mts or for the more active it is only a 20minute walk from the town. The Port has a number of sandy beaches, restaurants, bars and a marina. The village of Fornalutx is only 5 km. further up the valley and is a must visit for anyone staying in the area. The small village of Deia is only a 20 minute drive. The beach of Cala Deia is a pebble beach with a great seafood restaurant clinging to the rocks just above it. Well worth a visit.
