The apartment is ideally situated just North of Rome, in a quiet location 2 miles from the characteristic medieval hill town of Castelnuovo di Porto. Surprisingly untouched by tourism, the area offers a truly authentic environment. Guests can relax and enjoy the pool side comforts in a quiet setting after a day (or even just a morning) visiting the sights in Rome or the surrounding areas. Detached from the main villa in a secluded position, the apartment has one double bedroom plus second bedroom with bunk beds. Bathroom with shower. Further accommodation for 2 with private bathroom in the optional annex - adjacent to the main apartment and with independent access. A spacious living/ dining/ kitchen opens onto a large private terrace with barbecue and pergola for dining al fresco while enjoying the view. The apartment is fully equipped. The pool and the larger sun terrace are on the main garden level and shared with occupants of main villa. Boules pitch. Private parking.

Well situated in a quiet semi-rural position overlooking the valley to the medieval hill town of Castelnuovo di Porto, 28km from Rome centre, easily reached by train or car. The property is in an excellent position for visiting many places of interest such as Lakes Bracciano and Vico, Tivoli & Hadrian's Villa, medieval Viterbo, the coast all within the hour. In the immediate vicinity is the Parco della Treia nature reserve for relaxing walks and very appealing to photographers and watercolour artists . For more active family enjoyment the Acquapark, 30mins away, is always a success. Historical and archeological sites abound, most prominently the ancient Roman town of Lucus Feroniae minutes away. The main A1 motoway entrance is about 15mins from the property and Florence and Pompei are easily reached for day trips. The closest of three accessible golf courses is the 27 hole 'Arco di Costantino' just 10mins away.

    The cost of the annex is an additional €200 per week high season, €125 mid season.

    Rentals are weekly starting on a Saturday. Off season other arrangements may be considered.
    25% of the total is payable when booking. Remainder is due on arrival

    Ready for occupation from 3pm, departures by 9.30am.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Castelnuovo di Porto. The accommodation at Geraldine Milani's was excellent (delightful apartment with all facilities, great view and lovely pool) and Geraldine was so helpful and kind. The village is charming and has plenty of places to eat out. There is also the terrific Lake Bracciano nearby.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

We (family of 6) stayed at the Pink House for a week. It offered everything we were looking for in an Italian countryside vacation, with ready access to Rome and Florence.

The villa and apartment gave us everything we needed. The views were magnificent, the pool was awesome, nearby towns were charming and our host, Geraldine was gracious and welcoming. We hope to get back some day and heartily recommend it!
