'Villa Caldera' is located in the exclusive development of 'villas del sur' close to the new Marina Rubicon. The detached villa is furnished to a high standard and set in a peaceful location with a private heated swimming pool. There are 3 bedrooms, the master bedroom is en suite with a double bed. The doors are leading to the pool area. The second and third bedrooms have twin beds with bedside cabinets. The family bathroom comprises of bath/ shower, toilet and basin set in marble. The en suite bathroom has a shower, toilet and double basins also set in marble. The kitchen is well equipped with all modern conveniences. Double doors leading to a secluded courtyard with table and chairs ideal for a relaxing glass of wine under the stars. Leading out of the kitchen is a utility area where the washing machine and maiden are located. The living/ dining area is light and spacious equipped with 2 leather suites, a 32' LCD TV with family sky package, DVD player and CD Player.

A 5 minute stroll from the villa will take you to the fabulous Marina Rubicon where there are very few places on Lanzarote quite as chic and stylish as this glamorous oasis at Playa Blanca. The luxurious Oceanside development, completed in 2002, lies between the beautiful beaches of Papagayo and the main resort area of Playa Blanca the marina boasts a large selection of designer shops and upmarket bars and restaurants. A wide selection of watersports are on offer at the Playa Dorada beach a 15 Minute stroll from Villa Caldera near to the centre of Playa Blanca. In the centre there is a large pedestrianised shopping area and a large selection of bars and restaurants to suit every taste.

Beach/Coast: Playa Dorada beach is a short 15 minute walk from the villa. Literally translated as the Golden Beach, and this is certainly an accurate description with its warm honey coloured sand. Playa Blanca beach, from which the town takes it's name, has a European Blue Flag for cleanliness and is at the heart of the resort again short 15/20 min walk from the villa.

Golf: There is an 18 hole golf course at Costa Teguise, 30 minutes drive away or for the keen golfer why not play the championship course at Fuerteventura by taking the ferry across from the harbour which is only 200 metres away. Equipment is available for hire at both courses. There is an existing pitch and put course next to Playa Dorada beach.

Other Activities: jet skiing, pedlos, bannana boat.

Villa Caldera - highly recoomended

We have just got back from our two week holiday in Vila Caldera and the whole of our family had a great time. This was the first time we have taken this type of holiday but it will certainly not be the last. The villa is in a quiet position ideal for those lazy morning lie-ins however it is just a short stroll away from the beach, shops and Marina Rubicon.

The villa is very clean, it has all the facilities you need, plus you have the benefit of Mike and Linda who live in Lanzarote; and who look after the Villa, just a couple of doors away and who could not be more helpful should you need them. Whilst a car is not essential we felt having one very useful.

Since returning we have done nothing but speak very highly to our family and friends about the villa and we have no hesitation about recommending anyone looking for a private villa to stay in if going on holiday to Lanzarote, to give John and Rachel a call to see if theirs is available.

Just got back from a 2 week stay at the villa, had a fantastic holiday, there were 6 of us staying in the villa there was plenty of room to accomodate all of us easily. The bus service at the top of the street came in very useful to get to the playa Dorada beach where there was plenty to do inc. Banana Boat, Flyfish and jet skis, there was also lots of bars and restuarants around this area, a taxi back to the villa was less than 4 euros. The reps on the site were very helpful all the time. The villa is high spec and very clean i would definitely recommend it to others

Well, just got back from our lovely holiday and very keen to write a review as soon as possible. We all had a lovely relaxing holiday in this villa, which in to be honest was perfect in every way. Mike and Linda who are english speaking and only live a few doors away, were so helpful and kind, we felt like we could ask them anything, we felt safe and at home there. Mike even gave us a lift to the airport which was cheaper and less of a white knuckle ride than the taxis, this was really kind of him also. The villa is very clean and well looked after and my children spent hours in the lovely private pool. The location is also good as we found playa blanca to be lovely and quiet, definitely one of the nicer places on the island, with shops all close by. We will definitely be back for another break as we couldn't quite believe how relaxing and quiet a holiday it was. A big thank you again to Rachel, John, Mike and Linda.
