Notes to the rental rates

• Prices are based on a minimum stay of 7 nights, this includes up to 4 people sharing with a change of linen, towels and cleaning. Add £40/€55 per person per week or part of week, maximum of 6 staying. A change of linen is available for extra 4+ nights. Please note between 27th July to 30th August 1 or 2 week booking only.

• 20% deposit required at time of booking, remainder to paid in full, 8 weeks prior to arrival. For longer term Winter bookings, a deposit of 30% is required. A security deposit of £200 will be required with the final payment. This will be returned within a week of departure from the property. Please note this deposit will not be used against any minor damage such as broken glassware or crockery.

For the Golfer

There are two excellent golf courses within a five minute drive of the complex. The scenic and serene Palmares course, an 18 hole par 72, perfectly combines beach and mountain scenery. This is reflected in the course, with its links outward nine and hillier back nine and what is arguably the most striking first hole in the Algarve, with its high tee position pointing straight out to sea. A 5 minute drive in the other direction brings you to Boavista, designed by Howard Swann, it is an 18 hole, par 71 Championship course situated overlooking the Atlantic and Lagos town. A new course, Boavista is a welcome addition to Algarve golf and also benefits from a driving range and an excellent teaching academy. Car Hire & Transfers

The nearest airport is Faro at around 80km. One can reach Lagos directly by motorway from Faro in about 45 mins. The railway station is situated a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. Although car hire is not necessary as both beach and town are within easy walking distance, a car is recommended as there is so much to see and do in the Algarve. Things to Do

A recently opened municipal health complex is located a few minutes walk from the apartment. Here for a charge of around 4 euros you will find a competition size indoor pool and a large state of the art gym, classes are also available. Five minutes walk from the apartment, you will also find an excellent supermarket - Pingo Doce. Here you will find everything you need from fresh fish, meat and fruit to wines, freshly baked bread and pastries. From the marina visitors can book many activities, including wind surfing, diving, surfing, water skiing, big game fishing, boat trips, dolphin safaris and cycling. The nearest restaurants to the apartment are only 5 mins walk away. There are many easy day trips you can make from the marina, including water parks, zoo, the mountains of Monchique and the west coast with its spectacular beaches that are so popular with surfers. And don't forget Lagos town itself with its Museum, baroque church, 18th century fort, art galleries, cultural centre.
