Casa Romantica, as the name suggests is a brand new luxury 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa located on a quiet cul-de-sac street tastefully furnished and very comfortable. This villa is well equipped and offers all the comforts of home and more. Champagne and chocolates on arrival make Casa Romantica a perfect retreat for a honeymoon or special occasion. It is situated in the Costa Papagayo area and is only a 15 minute walk to beaches and centre of Playa Blanca. Features of the villa include total privacy, large garden, pool and terrace areas surrounded by high walls which make it both safe and quiet, heated swimming pool (8mx4m) and sunken outdoor jacuzzi, alarm security system, full air conditioning, lounge and master bedroom leading out to pool terrace area, covered outdoor dining area with BBQ, and seating area, American style kitchen with all modern appliances, DVD and Satellite TV with limited English channels (bring your own Sky card for extra channels).

Nearest Ferry: Playa Blanca at 2 Kilometres

Playa Blanca is the southern most town on the island and benefits from the maximum sun available. The villa is located on a quiet development and is only a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach - Playa Dorada and the centre of Playa Blanca with its shops, bars and restaurants. In Playa Blanca there is a beautiful seafront promenade which leads you to the new international Marina Rubicon (East) or the lighthouse (west). The airport at Arrecife is a 30-40 mins car drive away. If you don't want to hire a car, a taxi will take you to Playa Blanca for approx 40 euros, or a private car transfer for 50 Euros will take you directly to the villa. Local taxi service to centre of Playa Blanca approx. 2.50 euros. If you wish to visit places of interest on the island we would recommend car hire. Playa Blanca as a resort however offers all you will need for a relaxing holiday if you wish to stay locally. A new local bus service can take you all around the Playa Blanca area.

  • Christmas and New Year are considered PEAK SEASON; the price for this time frame is £700. Electric heated pool an additional £25 during LOW and MID seasons.
  • A £100 per week deposit (ie. £200 for a 2 week stay) is required at the time of booking - the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. Please note that this villa has a no smoking policy, however there are large external patio/terrace areas for this purpose.
  • All accommodation is on ground level and suitable for wheelchair access. There is a 2' ridge at the entrance of the walk in shower in the main bathroom.

Special Features: A particular feature of Casa Romantica is its private garden and pool area surrounded by high walls. Comfortable sun loungers, tables and chairs are part of the outdoor living space. For those who enjoy a bit of shade there are large covered pergolas on the terraced area at the back of the villa.

Golfing: The nearest 18 hole golf course currently is in Costa Teguise, which is a 35 min drive from Playa Blanca. A new golf course is open in Tias near Puerto del Carmen, this course is a 20 min drive. There is also a 9 hole pitch and putt course in Playa Blanca along side the Dorada Hotel along the water front. If you are a golfer we can organise tee times, hire of clubs etc.

Romantica by name and romantic by nature. Absolutely superb, all you could ever wish for. Dave introduced himself shortly after arrival , then left us to enjoy the most perfect, relaxing week imaginable. If only time could have stood still.

Just about the most relaxing holiday we have ever had! The villa is a perfect home from home; very peaceful and very well equipped. Just wonderful; well done Dave & Marcia. Lots of nice restaurants, our favourite was El Commandatore at the Marina Rubicon - great pasta! We will be back again soon.

Perfect Holiday

Upon arrival Dave explained the facilities, which were all of a superior standard. The location was private and, apart from some intermittant nearby construction noise, peaceful. We enjoyed the 30 minute stroll each evening to either the town/harbour or the Marina, both having delightful restaurants. For families with young children or the old/infirm I would recommend a car. We're in our late 50s and had no trouble as we were not interested in viewing the island having done so over previous years. Playa Blanca is quiter than our normal destination of Puerta Del Carmen and seemed less cloudy! A very pleasant week's break with no worries thanks to Dave & Marcia.

Our stay at casa romantica was a very pleasurable experience, the directions were fairly easy to follow from
the airport and entry details to access the villa were good.
on arrival, the villa surpassed expectations with regards its furnishings, cleanliness, and overall presentation.
At the time of our arrival in October 2007, a fair amount of construction work was in the area, but this had no real
detrimental affect on the overall enjoyment of the holiday apart from some intermittent noise caused by machinery, this we would presume is near complete by
the property at the time of writing.
Dave and Marcia made us welcome and went through the facilities of the House, and then basically left us to it, which was perfect for us as we wanted a peaceful break with as little disturbance as possible, the terrace with its pool and Jacuzzi were absolutely spot on, and had all the facilities we needed with an ample kitchen and bar b q area for alfresco dining.
The property’s location to the main beach, shops and restaurants in our opinion is a pleasant stroll away, but may be a little far for the elderly or infirm,
however it’s just a 5 minute journey by car.
Our overall holiday experience at Casa Romantica was excellent and would highly recommend it for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Excellent Villa 10/10

Arrived at Casa Romantica and within minutes Dave, the owner who lives next door, was there to show us around and give us information on the area.
The villa was spotless, well furnished and very comfortable, with a large private patio, BBQ, large heated pool and outdoor hot tub - the ideal place to enjoy Dave's welcome bottle of champagne and chocs. Location was perfect, peaceful, but only two mins drive to the beaches and excellent restaurants of Playa Blanca.
Would definitely go back, 10/10.
