A luxury air-conditioned & centrally heated 2 bedroom townhouse ideal for family & golfing holidays. This luxury townhouse has been furnished to a high standard & has outstanding views to the rear of the property which overlooks the Spanish hills/countryside. The Townhouse has been fully equiped including TV, DVD, fridge freezer, washing machine, toaster, microwave & towels/linen provided. The townhouse is situated on the outskirts of the resort providing peace & tranquility, however the main town centre is only within a 15 mins walk. Communal pools are situated within the resort & the nearest one is only a 3-4 min walk. The Polaris resort provides, restaurants, bars, swimming pools, children's play area, tennis courts & at 10 golf courses within a 20 min drive.

La Torre Resort is situated only 15 minutes away from Mar Menor & the Mediterranean sea. This region of Spain has over 310 days of sunshine per year making it the sunniest region in Spain. It is only 15 mins from San Javier Airport with many direct flights from the UK (inc, Monarch, Ryan Air, Easyjet etc) or fliy to Alicante which is only 40 mins drive away with many airlines including BA. Within 20 mins drive is the beautiful city of Murcia, it's architecture, history, cathedral, art cafe culture & the shopping centre is worth a visit. The lovely & dramatic mountain scenery of the Ricote Valley is only 30 min drive. The Mar Menor (small sea) is within 15 min drive which the children like. The resort has 24 hr security with vehicle access recognition. Services available within the resort include, swimming pools, fitness centre, 18 hole golf course inc great practice facilities, health centre, shopping centre. An Inter-Continental hotel is currently being built on with spa facilities.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A £200 damages deposit is payable at the time of booking & is refunded within 2 weeks of your return following a successful inventory inspection & your 75 Euros cleaning charge has been left in the property on your departure. Full payment is required 8 weeks before arrival. The management of the townhouse are an English speaking couple who usually meet you on your arrival or can even meet you at the airport (at an extra cost). The villa has air-conditioning and central heating – June to Sept we charge £15 per week for air conditioning.
    The property is professionally cleaned between each let, services can include welcome packs, pick up/drop off service from the airport. All linen & towels are provided (but not beach towels, please bring your own). Smoking is not allowed within the property. Check in is at 4pm on the day of arrival & check out is 10 am on the day of departure.

The Resort: This Luxury townhouse on La Torre Golf Resort is excellently located just 15 mns from the sandy beaches of Mar Menor with great facilities nearby. The Inter-Continental Hotel is being built, currently there are various bars, restaurants, sports centre, health centre, 24 hr security, 18 hole golf course & great practice facilities.

Activities for the children: Aqualandia Waterpark near Torrevieja, Karting at La Manga, Terra Mitica Roman themed activity park. Riding, biking, tennis at different locations, Sea inflatable adventure park at La Manga. Murcia is a lovely city with a Cathedral & river running through it also there are many shops.

Golf: There are currently 3 Polaris golf courses open, La Torre (18 hole), El Valle (18 hole) & Mar Menor (9 Hole but currently extending it to 18). Please bring your handicap certificates with you. Each of the courses have a slightly different theme, the greens are great & fast. There are 4 different T boxes depending on your level/handicap. The other courses which are excellent & nearby are La Finca (25 mins in car & well worth it!), La Serena- good test with 16 out of 18 holes having water(15 min by car), La Roda- very enjoyable & interesting layout (15 min by car), Mosa Trajectum- sorry not played (5 min by car), Hacienda Del Alamo- good layout & test (25 min by car). Then there are the older maturer course such as Los Ramblas, Campaamor, Villamartin. For the Non-Polaris course we use an external company called Course Masters who are very helpful & can book your T times.

A beautiful property which allowed us to make to most of a picturesque area of Spain with some very hot weather. The Polaris Resort itself is not entirely complete yet and this impacted the overall experience, but the Golf Course and the Townhouse more than compensated for this !!. La Torre should have its 5-Star hotel in operation before Christmas and I am sure following that the other unfinished aspects of the resort will follow on... none of this should detract however from an excellent rental experience which the whole family enjoyed and benefited from. I have already recommended the property to a close friend and will continue to sing its praises
