Villa Banyan is a very short drive from the airport although the villa is not on the flight path, which is great! The villa is also a short drive from the famous Aphrodite rock and very near to the golf club. The villa its self is stunning. It really does look like the pics on the website! Immaculate and has all the facilities, to include a shed full of inflatable toys! There was a wonderful welcome pack of a whole freshly cooked chicken, jam, bread, eggs, milk, wine, biscuits etc. The cupboards were stocked with tea, coffee, salt/pepper, dishwasher tablets, washing powder and gin! The dishwasher, washing machine, oven, fridge, freezer, toaster, aircon (foc), TV, DVD etc are all immaculate and easy to use. The villa has a good selection of CD’s, DVD’s and books.
The villa is not very old and the grounds are fully maintained. The pool is very clean and topped up on a regular basis. It was great having a villa all on one floor although there is a beautiful sun terrace on the roof. There are safety catches on the doors for little fingers. There is a full supply of towels, tea towels, bedding, soap, toilet rolls etc. A very comfortable villa with plenty of seating and sun loungers. The plug sockets are the same as in the UK so we know not to pack our travel plugs next time! The views are wonderful. The people in the area are very helpful and friendly. We got friendly with a taxi company and they gave us excellent rates to Pissouri and Paphos. There is also an English couple nearby that look after the villa. They are very helpful with anything you need to know or anything you need, but they are not intrusive.
The booking was easy and communication was fast and efficient. We were given lots of information and suggested places to eat which turned out to be brilliant. We were also introduced to a car hire company that provided us with a large car at a great price. The car rental company also escorted us to the villa on our arrival!
We are going to try another one of their villas next year but would be happy to return to the villa Banyan anytime.
