Harbour Island 3 bed house with pool minutes from beach

Sunset Villa is a spacious 3 bedroom house with pool, it is minutes from the gorgeous Pink Sands beach and all the local amenities of town. It is an ideal family holiday rental and we welcome children. The house is modern and has all the essentials, fully equipped kitchen, daily maid service (except Sundays). flat screen TV, DVD player and DVD library,high chair/travel cot and playpen, hairdryer, WiFi, telephone. Pool heating and golf cart available at extra cost. Sunset Villa is available throughout the year for holiday rentals. Rental includes towels, sheets, beach towels, beach chairs. Harbour Island is one of the many beautiful islands in the Bahamas, it is only 3 miles long by 1 mile wide but there is plenty to do, including fishing, boating, water skiing, tubing and diving. There are many restaurants to suit all budgets and the night life though not extensive, on certain nights is very lively. Transport on the island is mainly by golf cart which adds to the island's charm.

Within a 5 minute walk you will be on one of the 'most beautiful beaches in the world' as named by Forbes magazine, it has the softest pink sand and is rarely crowded. Nearby on the harbour side you can rent a boat to visit some of the neighbouring islands and there is a safe bay ideal for waterskiing, windsurfing, tubing or jet skiing. Fishing and diving are easily arranged. On nearby Eleuthera there are ancient caves to visit and yet more stunning beaches and quaint towns. The Landing and Rock House are two world class restaurants and there plenty of beach side restuarants for lunch, Sip Sip is particularly good with great views of the ocean. If you wish to visit Nassau, there is a daily ferry to Paradise Island known affectionately as the Bohengy, there you can visit Atlantis the famous hotel and casino and Bay Street which has many points of interest and plenty of duty free shopping. You can hire a horse and carriage for a tour, alternatively you can fly from North Eleuthera

The Bahamas tends to be most popular during the Christmas/New Year period and the Easter/Spring break period. However the summer months are becoming increasingly busy too. The weather is usually very hot with occasional showers during this time, less hot in the winter months. It is very quiet from the end of August to the beginning of November when many of the hotels/restaurants close for a break before the new 'season' starts. Our rentals are Saturday to Saturday arrival after 3pm and departure 11am this is in order for the maid to prepare the house for the next client.

Notes:

Upon entrance to the property there is a drive with a garden area to the right. There are a few steps leading up to front door, the ground floor comprises of a large open plan kitchen/ breakfast bar and dining area. The sitting room is also open plan with a very large L shaped sofa. There is a dining area outside as well as an outside bar area. The pool can be heated at an extra cost. There is a laundry room with washer/dryer. From the open plan sitting room there are double doors to the pool area, sunbeds, parasols, dining table and seating area. The maid comes 6 days a week for 3 hours each day. Any extra babysitting, ironing etc is to be negotiated between the maid and the client. There are plenty of local stores to buy food etc.
