This is a modern penthouse in the luxury development of Ribera Beach at the edge of Mar de Cristal village on the Mar Menor. The views are stunning and include the Mar Menor, the hills over the world famous “La Manga Club”, and the national park at Calblanque. If you are thinking of renting on this complex - check the views (make sure they have one!) and then compare it to these! The beach is a short walk and the complex has its own private swimming pool. The penthouse has private underground parking. Don't underestimate the value of this facility. The underground space is seconds from the lift - such a help when you are carrying golf clubs, shopping and of course small kids! And of course the space is assured - no long treks! Being on the top two floors and at the end of the walkway means you will have peace and quiet when you stay here. The Penthouse is in the village of Mar de Cristal. Mar de Cristal has always been known for the crystal clear and warm waters of the Mar Menor. This region of Spain, the Costa Calida is on the South East coast and is the driest region of Spain enjoying an average 320 days of sunshine each year. It is therefore ideal for a winter break as well as summer holidays. The Mar Menor is in fact a large salt water lagoon which enjoys warm shallow waters ideal for all water sports as well as being a good spot for families. The waters of the Mar Menor can reach up to 30c during the summer months which is why water sports are so popular here. The area around the Mar Menor is quite flat and is excellent for bike riding where trips of 10 to 20 km are quite feasible. It is conveniently situated to take advantage of a number of local villages and the national park of Calblanque.

  • A booking fee of 100 euros is due at the time of booking. We will hold the booking for 48 hours to enable you to confirm your travel arrangements. The booking will then be deemed, CONFIRMED. If the booking is within 8 weeks of your departure, the balance (including the Deposit against damages - see below) will be due for immediate payment. Final payment is due 56 days before departure (8 weeks). IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION fees are re-fundable if we manage to re-let the apartment for the cancelled period (less a handling fee of 100 euros). PLEASE take out travel insurance, including cancellation insurance to cover these eventualities.

    SECURITY DEPOSIT

    Please note that a security deposit of 200 euros will be required against damages. Our local managers will check you in and check you out. In the event that damage exceedes the deposit, then the difference will be charged to you.

Local Managers: The apartment is managed locally in Spain. Upon arrival, you will be met by our property manager(s)who will give you the keys, directions to the apartment and other useful information, including an emergency contact number. Should you have any problems or emergencies at all, they are available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Should you require an airport transfer this can also be arranged.

Golf: There are 3 courses at the world famous La Manga club, and they do run special promotions from time to time. This costs from approximately 90 euros. There are a number of other courses within 30 mins drive (Fuente Alamo, Torre Pacheco ( 9 holes), Mosa Trajectum, Altorreal, Campoamor, Las Ramblas, Villamartin, Greenlands (9 holes), La Marquesa, La Finca, As in the UK, tuition can be arranged at most of them for example: La Manga Club Golf Academy 5 day clinics Monday – Friday. Expert tuition by leading P G A teaching professionals. The owners may be able to put you in touch with other golfers who are staying at the same time as you.
