This fantastic detached villa is located in a relaxing and peaceful area in the resort of Playa Blanca. It has an enviable elevated position with incredible sea views over to Fuerteventura, spacious terraces, privacy and a large fully heated pool. The villa has a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a spacious open plan lounge with LCD TV+full sky package, and WIFI, which leads through to the fully equipped kitchen and the dining area...the owners have also put in many extra touches to make sure your holiday is a special one such as air con in the bedrooms, pool heating, playstation2, and a kids game table!!! The villa is located in the exclusive area of Las Coloradas in the sunny south of Lanzarote, it is surrounded by many residential complexes alongside 4 & 5 star hotels, you are welcome to stroll around the hotels & in some you may use the bars, restaurants & facilities.Just 5 mins walk away there is a gym and fabulous 5* spa, a couple of great restaurants,a supermarket,a terrace bar with delicious home-made ice creams, a sports bar,a kiddies play park. Approx 15 min walk away you can explore the fantastic natural white beach coves of Payagayo, they are great for snorkelling & are known to be the finest in the Canaries, or you can try the Playa Dorada beach which is about 2min drive away & here you will find a lovely bay with sun beds,umbrellas,restaurants,shops & watersports for the more energetic. A 25 min stroll along the seafront promenade takes you to the new Marina, here there are many restaurants & shops all on the waterfront & activities such as sailing & diving!

Additional information about rental rates

  • The above prices are based on up to 4 people sharing, please add an additional 75 pounds for every extra person up to a total of 8. Children under 2 at the time of travelling stay free and a travel cot is also available free of charge.

    We don´t have any hidden extra costs so unlike many properties the use of the AIR CONDITIONING in the bedrooms and ELECTRIC POOL HEATING is INCLUDED in the above prices !!

    To secure a booking a deposit of 200 pounds (per week booked) is required, with the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to your departure, and a 200 pound returnable security deposit cheque is also required.

    Bookings are mainly from 3pm THURSDAY until 10am THURSDAY.
  • Clean linen and towels are provided each week with a clean, plus a midweek towel change.
    Pool towels are provided.
    A welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk etc will be waiting on arrival for you to help to get your holiday off to a great start with compliments of Casa 22.
    The villa also has full 24/7 call out/contact service in case of emergencies.

Notes: OUTSIDE INFO... The pool measures 8m x 4m and has full width steps leading into the shallow end which is 1.2m and the deep end which is1.45m....the top step is very wide like a bench which is great for lounging on and for those kiddies trying to get their confidence in the water. In mid 2008 all of the the terraces outside were retiled to replace the original slippery tiles with a type with better grip, to try to make it safer for little ones!! Outside at the front of the property there is private parking for 2 cars. Wireless internet access (WIFI) priced at only €25 per week...subject to availability...please ask on enquiry for more details.

EXTRA VILLA LAYOUT INFO...: The layout for this property is as follows... On the upper level there is the main lounge area complete with LCD TV with SKY with MOVIE and SPORTS channels etc, the dining area and kitchen and utility room along with the master bedroom with en suite and bedroom 2 with the family bathroom next door - all of this is on one level leading out to the terrace, bedroom 3 is located down 2 steps from the lounge and leads out onto the lower pool terrace through patio doors. The downstairs area is accessed through a door in the dining room (which can of course be closed making it safe for the kiddies) and downstairs there is a very spacious L shaped open plan room, with the 4th bedroom at one end with the en suite shower room and a lounge area in the centre with 2 comfy sofas, a TV (linked to TV upstairs) with DVD player, a playstation 2 with games and a 7 in 1 kids games table!!

VILLA LOCATION AND PLAYA BLANCA: In Las Coloradas there are a couple of great restaurants and a sports bar and terrace bar..a 25 minute stroll from this villa will lead you along the wonderful seafront walkway to the new Marina where you can enjoy a great selection of bars,shops and restaurants located right on the waterfront, further on another 20 minutes (5 minute drive from the villa) takes you to the main village of playa Blanca...this was originally a small fishing village which now offers many shops and restaurants. If beaches are what you are looking for then this is a great property for you..less than 15 minutes walk away you will find the natural beaches of Papagayo. Playa Blanca is ideal for those looking for a relaxing, quieter kind of holiday!!!

LANZAROTE & CAR HIRE: There is much to see and do on Lanzarote, from the camels to the caves....in the villa you will find an information booklet with information about all of the wonderful places to visit! Although it is not essential to hire a car and there is now a great new local bus service running from Las Coloradas to the Marina and onto the village (at a cost of 1.15€) we still say that a rental car is highly recommended to help you get the most from your holiday and to explore the island, we can arrange this for you..please ask for further information.

Other Activities: There is a pitch and putt 5 minutes drive away and a 10 pin bowling alley 3 minutes drive away.

HOLIDAY HEAVEN!!

This was a truly wonderful villa with everything anyone could wish for to make their holiday enjoyable.
It was spotless (even inside the kitchen drawers!) towels and beds changed twice a week and the pool was also cleaned twice a week.
So many things were provided that we didn't need to take pumps/inflatables/pool towels/hair dryer and many more.
The setting was beautiful, so quiet and peaceful just what we needed to relax and the views were stunning across the water.
The pool was fantastic and everyone in our group (aged from 2yrs-69yrs!) loved it. The walk in steps were ideal for our little chap who enjoyed splashing around whilst we sat next to him - very child friendly.
We would definately go back to this villa if we could get a slot but it seems everyone is of the same mind as it is almost fully booked up for the next two years!!
So that must speak volumes for itself!
Thankyou Debs for all your help and hard work. You made us feel welcome and made our stay at Casa 22 the best holiday we've ever had it was fabulous!

If you want a fabulous holiday...

... then try this! Our group ranged from 6 year old twins up to someone in their late fifties.

Excellent, very well equipped and clean villa! I can now forget all the little extras that I usually pack to make life easy. Too many to list but here's a few. Clean pegs, batteries, bulbs, knives, clocks, pool towels, inflatables plus pump, adaptor plugs, mosquito stuff, sewing kit. Even the iron was good! List goes on and on...

There were decent, clean cushions for chairs and sun loungers, and dishwasher, washing machine and general cleaning supplies were found (replace as necessary - these often are removed between lets in some villas).

Loved the pool - warm, warm, warm! The children now swim like fish.

Outside shade and furniture perfect!

Great games room to get the twins out of the midday sun!

Lots of little things throughout that make the villa a charming place to spend your holiday.

Very peaceful but not far from shops and good restaurants at Marina Rubicon and Playa Blanca.

Debs clearly works very hard to make sure that everything is perfect. We are very grateful to her for organising somewhere for the twins and their mother to spend their day after their flight home was altered to a late night slot. Thank you so much.

The only problem with this villa might be getting a booking!

Had a great time..Villa fantastic and so was the pool, Andrew loved the games room downstairs.
Weather really hot our second week but plenty of shade which was great and loved the outdoor-in room.

The Perfect Holiday

Casa 22 was indeed the perfect holiday villa for my extended family both young and old. The children enjoyed the pool, as expected, and the SKY TV was a useful distraction to get them inside out of the midday sun. My son had a great time honing his pool skills, beating
grandad's, dad and mum by the end of the 2nd week. We all enjoyed a very competitive game of Trivial Pursuit and played numerous card games, chess, draughts. A very relaxing holiday was had by all. I find that it is the little things that matter, attention to detail, for example a nice clean pool makes all the difference, ours was of course
perfect. Provision of Towels for the loungers another positive, not having to pack all those towels is a bonus. We all just enjoyed the relaxed 'feel' of the place and it certainly was what I needed for a 2 week break from the stresses and strains of normal working life here in the UK.
Thank you for helping to make our holiday a memorable one.
