La Oliva holiday villa: La Oliva

The Description of the Villa was very accurate, it was exceptionally clean and very well maintained.

The support provided by the owners agent was excellent and the fact that you know someone is on hand if necessary is reassuring.

The Villa is outstanding, it is very spacious and has all the necessary facilities, the pool is wonderful with the added benefits of the games room and Boule area.

The owners have created an informal environment, plenty of CD's etc and have allowed an accumulation of inflatables for use in the pool. For a Villa of this quality you get an immediate feeling that this is very much your holiday home. The villa is secure and has long walks/cycle rides from the doorstep.It is also self sufficient by way of solar and wind powered electricity.

The location is wonderful, quiet but with very easy access to the main roads to the north and south of the island. La Oliva is a small sleepy little town, albiet culturally important, it does not have a great array of facilities for that, you will need to travel the easy 17 km's to Corralejo which is a bustling tourist town with a huge array of facilities, however it is not spoilt like some of the other resorts in the Canaries. There is a shop/supermarket in Villaverde a few km's north where you can purchase everything you need, or for graeter choice a large number in Corralejo.

This Villa can be both a wonderful retreat at the end of a busy day or a relaxing, luxury base for the days that you want to relax in the wonderful climate on a huge terrace next to a great pool with superb views.

We would highly recommend this villa. It will appeal/cater for a wide range of guests, except of course those who want to be right in the centre of a large resort, you will need a car to get the most from your holiday.

In summary a special villa on a very special Island.
