The villa was completely rebuilt in 2007 with the addition of a private heated pool in the garden. Villas of this size with private heated pools and within a stones throw of the beach in Luz are very rare, and early booking is recommended. The ultra modern and stylish decor will appeal to anyone with a taste for the finer things in life, and the location is absolutely perfect.

Villa Poseidon is set within a high wall right by the beach in the centre of Praia da Luz, just a stones throw from all the facilities, bars, restaurants, beach and supermarket. Car hire is not required. The villa has a walled surround and paved garden which contains the swimming pool. It is off a small cul-de-sac just behind the beach sea front promenade and very easy to find. A great location for families, or anyone who doesn't wish to drive at night after dinner out. Golf, nightlife, beaches, west coast surfing, sailing, watersports and entertainment all easy to access. It is unusual to find a smaller villa with its own decent sized heated private pool in this position in Luz, and makes it a great location for a holiday.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rents are pro-rata the number of nights in each season. Cross season rentals will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. All rates are per week per property for a maximum of 4 persons (including children & babies). One extra baby in a cot is allowed. The price for 1 baby cot is €40 per week and includes linen, booked in advance and payable locally. In the main summer seasons the Saturday changeover date is adhered to, out of peak seasons we can be more flexible. Pool heating is normally turned off in July & August, if you'd like it on, please ask.
  • Reductions for last minute lets are not normally considered.
  • Rents include services (water, electricity etc), a weekly maid service, pool heating, household linen, and services of an English speaking Management company within a short walk of the villa.

GOLF: There are several golf courses in the area. The nearest being Boa Vista just down the road, Salema and Palmares a 20 minute drive away. The Algarve is peppered with courses, details of which can be sent on request.

WATER SPORTS: In the summer water sports are available from Luz Beach. These include water skiing, various inflatables pulled by speed boats, sailing, pedalo hire and diving courses are available. Boat trips can be booked and boarded from Luz beach, and the harbour at Lagos nearby offers marine trips including Dolphin safaris. There are various different water slide parks on the Algarve, tickets for which can be purchased in Luz village.
