Castillon du Gard, renowned medieval hilltop village, situated between Avignon and Uzes, with easy access to the motorway A9 at Remoulins, is a lively village all year round with a choice of restaurants, shops and all amenities at walking distance. Built in to the hillside on three levels and enjoying truly exceptional views, this charming village house has just been restored with style and comfort. A large and welcoming salon with fireplace opens on to the large veranda with panoramic windows running along all the front of the house, installed as a sitting room to enjoy the exceptional views. A spacious Provencal style kitchen with fireplace, has been restored with the local colours. On the top floor, three bedrooms and a bathroom complete the main house all with beautiful views. On the lower level, a splendid terrace of 60 m2 with a sheltered summer dining room lies below facing due south and a ‘Folie terrace’ designed for wine tasting.
