All day sun, overlooking orange groves and enjoying sea views; this house is an ideal holiday location. Situated within the market town of Oliva & only five minutes drive from the glorious local sandy beaches, the property has so much to offer for those who want local amenities within easy reach. The villa is newly built, equipped with all modern facilities yet presents in the true traditional style with wooden shutters & beautiful high vaulted ceilings with beams. The house is very tastefully decorated and furnished. The accommodation comprises 3 double bedrooms (all with en-suite facilities), mezzanine lounge, large kitchen/dining room, utility room and spacious outside areas. The private pool measures 9m x 4m at longest & widest points, has Roman steps access and plenty of space around for sunbathing. Oliva is ideally located on the borders of Costa Azahar & the Costa Blanca with their numerous attractions. Most local beaches offer water sports including water skiing, surfing, wind-surfing, kite-surfing and diving. Horse riding stables can be located next to Oliva Nova Golf Course and there is a go-kart track nearby. Within 30 - 45 mins drive you can visit Vergel Safari Park, Mundomar Sea World, Terra Mittica Theme Park or Aqualandia Water Park. Alternatively you could visit Ibiza on a trip from Denia port, a 25 minute drive away. There are other boat trips to be enjoyed, which travel up and down the coast and to nearby islands.

  • A 25% deposit is payable to secure the booking. The balance payment together with a damage deposit of £200 (to cover losses, breakages etc.) is required eight weeks prior to the reservation date. The damage deposit will be returned within 7 days of departure following a property check.
  • The villa can be accessed after 4pm on the day of arrival. It must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure to allow for a thorough changeover clean.

LOCAL AMENITIES: Nearby amenities include: windsurfing, fishing, walking, cycling, sailing, boat hire, mountain biking, horse riding & scuba diving. There are local shopping areas, theatre/cinema, historic sites and a museum. Oliva is an unspoiled charming town relatively untouched by tourism and highlighted (21/05/07) in The Mail on Sunday as 'a great traditional Spanish town to visit'. The town itself has three distinct areas: the old town with its narrow quaint streets, the Paseo area with a weekly market (Friday) and a good selection of bars & restaurants and also the glorious beach area on the coast. The Spanish love their fiestas and Oliva celebrates many throughout the year. These are always a treat for visitors - especially Las Fallas in March & the Moors & Christians festival in July where you can watch the magnificent parades and stay up all night to witness the re-enactment of the early morning beach invasion!!.

DIARY DATES: 2008 - Don't miss these spectacular events that are held in this area. The main ones are: Moors & Christians - Oliva 17th - 20th July. Fabulous processions and beach landing. European Grand Prix, Valencia. 24th August La Tomatina, Bunol (35 km) west of Valencia - The biggest food throwing party in the world!

GOLFING: For golfing enthusiasts there are many excellent golf courses in the area. In Valencia located on a narrow stretch of dunes and dense pinewoods separating the Albufera Lagoon from the Mediterranean Sea is the El Saler Golf Course, ranked among the Top 10 in Europe and Top 100 in the world. The adjacent Albufera Lagoon is a vast expense of brackish waters and rice paddies, which is also a natural reserve full of birds and wild life. Other courses in and around Valencia of note include, Club de Golf Manises, Club de Golf El bosque & Club de Golf Escorpion. The prestigious Oliva Nova Golf Course is within a 20 minute drive from the villa. This course was designed by Seve Ballesteros, is reasonably priced and boasts an excellent clubhouse with restaurant. Nearby La Sella (Denia) & Javea golf courses offer excellent driving ranges and facilities.

We stayed in this villa in June. It is very well presented and everything is new.
The bedrooms are spacious and cool with the air conditioning.
The outdoor space is amazing with loads of different areas to sit.
6 of us stayed very comfortably and really enjoyed ourselves.
It is a small distance from the town but we had bikes and walked most of the time.
I highly recommend this villa for high class accomodation and a peaceful family holiday.
