This new (2008) villa, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and private infinity pool, sleeps six people comfortably. Built in a traditional Cypriot style the villa gives you charm, with all the modern amenities. Located on an elevated site the views enjoyed from the roof garden and pool deck are panoramic towards the town of Famagusta, and the coast beyond. Situated in a friendly quiet complex of nine houses it is just a short walk away from the small Cypriot village of Deryneia where you will find local shops and restaurants. The ground floor consists of an open plan living/dining/kitchen area which opens to adjacent patio and pool deck. A double, and twin bedrooms and toilet/shower are also located on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a master double bedroom with ensuite bath/shower room, TV, fridge and balcony overlooking the pool area and the panoramic views beyond.. You can dine (seats six) in either the dining area, patio area or roof garden.

Nearest Beach: beach at 1.5 Kilometres

Just off the beaten tourist track the location of the villa is about 1.5 miles from the main shopping town in the area, Paralimni and tourist village with beaches, Kapparis. This part of the Famagusta region is less commercialised, with easy access to the sandy coves and pretty fishing harbours situated along the coastal path. The main tourist areas with a wide selection of restaurants and tourist facilities are available in Pernera (4 miles), Protaras (5 miles) and Ayia Napa (6 miles) are within easy reach by bus, taxi or car. Local amenities include a Waterpark and access to watersports and boat trips. For those interested in the history of the area a visit to the Cultural Centre in Deryneia is recommended.

Very Relaxing Holiday

We spent a fantastic week relaxing at this beautiful villa. Every requirement was provided for and all amenities were close by. A key factor is the unspoilt view from the back of the villa overlooking the the coast. Directions to the property were spot on, we arrived after midnight and had no problem finding it. Having a dip in the pool was superbly refreshing after lying in the hot sun for a while. There are some beautiful beaches close by, some without the throngs. There are more than enough restaurants to hand and we certainly want to come back to this lovely place again in the not too distant future.

A place to relax

If you want a get away from it all holiday but know that there is plenty to do if you feel like it this is the place to go.

Facility is great for family groups. My wife and I enjoyed 2 weeks of pleasure with our three year old just relaxing by the pool during the day and enjoying the various restaurants in nearby towns and villages.

The villa is well presented and furnished with great facilities. The views to the Med and Famagusta City are fantastic.

We where extremely comfortable and intend to return as soon as possible bringing other family members with us. We have already recommended Taravista to friends and family.

After two days we felt like we had been there a month such was the atmosphere and opportunity to just relax and enjoy.

If you want to eat in and just enjoy each others company the kitchen is great for preparing meals and the roof garden a great place to enjoy that meal you just prepared.

Friendly neighbours are an added bonus. Trust us you will not regret a holiday in Taravista.

We spent a fantastic week at this beautiful villa in the Protaras area. The high-quality accomodation has an authentic Cypriet feel and is perfect for either a family break or for a group of friends. The roof terrace offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area and coast, the private pool provides refreshment after a day's relaxation in the sun and the accomodation offers everything you could possibly need for your stay with spacious bedrooms and a well appointed kitchen/living area.

The location provides something for everyone. Located a short drive from the more commercialised towns of eastern Cyprus, you can choose between a great range of local restaurants, shops and cafes or take a short journey to the hustle and bustle of Ayia Napa. The local beaches are well worth exploring as are the historic towns of the region.

We would highly recommend Taravista to anyone planning a trip to Cyprus and we look forward to spending more holidays there in future.
