Villa Flora is a family residency since year 1820. An ancient home full of charm with preserved atmospheres of the past. Located in the heart of Slovenian Pre-coastal Wine Country, very central to most Slovenian tourist attractions as Caves, Lipizaner horses, Julian Alps, Slovenian coast, Ljubljana, Venice.. Right under magnificent Castle Rihemberk, one of the most beautiful castles of Slovenia as well as the biggest medieval castle of the Pre-Coastal Slovenia. Villa is subdivided in 3 units, apartments. That sleep 2 - 12 people. 1 unit sleeps 2-4. 1 unit sleeps 4-8. And if you rent the whole Villa Flora capacity, you can come in 12. Rooms are furnished with art and antiques. A big secluded calm garden will be at your disposition at the back of the house. Villa Flora is as well home to Slovenian painter Tjaša Iris. Branik village is situated in the Primorska region, between Karst and Vipava valley. Locals are growing peach orchards and are producing many varieties of fine wines.

    Notes: Included in the price: bed-linen, pillows, bath towels, electricity & water, the apartment is cleaned by our staff, weekly. You are expected to look after it on a daily basis.

    Not included: Tourist tax is 1 Euro per person per night, children 50 cents.

    Rental period is from Saturday 15:00 - Saturday 10:00. Arrival between 15.00 and 20.00 - the exact time to be mutually agreed 7 days before arrival. Any arrival after 20.00 may be arranged at a surcharge of 50 Euros. Latest possible departure time is 10:00 Saturday morning.

    Once availability has been confirmed, the booking will be guaranteed upon receipt of a signed contract from you and initial deposit of 30% of the hire cost. For bookings less than 90 days before arrival date the entire hire cost is due.
  • Cancellation Policy-
    8 weeks before the arrival, deposit + 20%,
    6 weeks before the arrival, deposit + 40%,
    4 weeks before the arrival, deposit + 60%,
    2 weeks before the arrival, deposit + 80%,
    1 week before the arrival, deposit + 100%.

Wine & Prosciutto Tastings, Antique Markets: BRANIK VILLAGE IS VERY CENTRAL TO MOST SLOVENIAN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS AS CAVES, LIPIZANER HORSES, JULIAN ALPS, SLOVENIAN COAST, LJUBLJANA, VENICE... There are plenty of wineries and wine farms in the area, producing Slovenian's most fine wines. Only in Branik village the farmers grow over 15 different Wine grape varieties. There are as well local osmica feats and other village feasts all spring, summer and autumn. There is almost always one somewhere. You can taste very good food there. But Branik village also has 3 very good restaurants where you can taste local cuisine and wines. In Štanjel village antique vendors come almost every Saturday and Sunday, if the weather is permitting. Branik has a village feat end of August, with antique market, wine tastings, dancing outdoors and sausage stands in the evening.

Famous Slovenian Caves: most of the nicest ones are very close to Villa Flora, Postojna Cave, 40 km, Skocaja Caves, 40 km, Vilenica Cave, 20 km.

Štanjel village: One of the most famous and most visited villages of Slovenia is only 6 km away. Famous for the beauty of the stone houses, lemon shaped church tower and the Castle of Štanjel, with the famous Spacjal Art Collection. A taste of Teran wine and prosciutto is a must.

Ski: Kanin in about an hour drive, is high mountain skiing resort, where you can ski even in May. By the way in May Slovenians ski at Kanin in the morning and swim in the sea in the afternoon. Sella Nevea is the Itallian side of Kanin mountain. You can go up one way or the other. Go up Italian side, have lunch in Slovenia, ski back to Italy....
