This luxury ground floor 2 bed apt is in the secure Praia Village complex, within a 10-15min walk of both Vilamoura Marina and Blue Flag Falesia Beach. The apt is furnished to the highest standard with air conditioning/heating throughout. The master bedroom includes a super king size bed and an ensuite bathroom that includes a hydro massage and sauna column unit. The second bedroom has two single beds and a third comfortable pullout bed is also available. The bathroom also includes a luxury jacuzzi bath. The living room consists of 2 large sofas providing seating for at least 6. One sofa is also a large double bed. Dining facilities for 6. Cable TV, DVD, CD and Radio also provided. The large kitchen is fitted out with high end Siemen appliances throughout. On the large terrace, comfortable rattan chairs and dining table are provided. Four sun loungers are available for the large communal pool. Allocated underground car parking also provided. Cot and high chair available on request.

Located 20 minutes from the Faro airport, the apartment is within walking distance from the award winning Vilamoura Marina and the white sand of the Blue Flag Falesia beach. Local activities include all varieties of water sports also tennis, shooting, lawn bowling and of course access to the 5 Vilamoura championship golf courses. Close to Vilamoura can also be found Go-Karting, Zoomarine, Krazy World and the Aquapark. The traditional Portuguese resort of Quarteira with its fish and vegetable market and extensive promenade is just a short walk. While the historic town of Loule with its architecture and award winning Saturday market is 15 minutes away. The local buses will enable you to visit the nearby resort towns of Faro and Albuferia with their large shopping centres. Surrounding the Marina are numerous child friendly restaurants and bars all within walking distance of the apartment. Whilst a car is not strictly necessary, a visit to the surrounding countryside is always worthwhile.

    Verbal/email booking will be held for 7 days.
  • 20% non refundable deposit required on confirmation of booking and the balance required 6 weeks prior to arrival. Payment should be made by bank transfer or through PayPal.
    €200 refundable breakage/damage deposit per booking is required with the balance. This will be refunded within 14 days of vacating the apartment.
    5. Arrival day. Normally 1600hrs- Departure 1000hrs or by arrangement.
  • Towels and linens are provided. Beach towels are not provided.
    Additional maid service is available on request.
    We employ the services of an agent in the Vilamoura area to ensure that your stay in the apartment is as enjoyable as possible and that any problems that arise can be resolved with the minimum of difficulty. The agent will be able to supply, amongst other items, airport transfers, cots and cot linen, high chairs, car hire, discounted golf, etc.

Great location and apartment

Had a great stay in this spacious apartment. It was very clean and full of modern appliances in bathrooms and kitchen. The complex is nice and small and with this ground floor apartment access to the pool was great.

The location is good and the walk to the Marina was just over 10 mins however taxis were in ample supply. However the walk to the beach is about 20 mins however we hired bikes for the week so getting a round was easy. Beaches are great, clean and have good restaurants for lunch or drinks

Marina area is great with lots of restaurants and bars, easily enough to keep you entertained for a week or two.

If you're into sport, theres lots of golf courses on the doorstep but also tennis and horse riding down the road.

We had a great time and definately will be back.

This apartment is great for a family holiday. Everything is clean and modern and a washing machine is fab when you've got little ones.
Absolutely ideal on the ground floor so easy come easy go to and from the pool.
Actually about 20mins walk to the marina but pleasant walk so not a problem.
Would definitely recommend and go back again!

Superb apartment in Idyllic location

We stayed at this beautiful apartment during a sun-drenched week in June 2008. Can safely say our only regret is not having discovered Vilamoura before, as from start to finish it was a dream holiday! Being our first time, we didn't know what to expect accomodation-wise however the apartment itself and complex certainly surpassed all our expectations in terms of luxury, facilities, proximity to the beach and nearby restaurants/attractions.
The apartment was very clean, spacious and tastefully decorated-granite worktops and luxurious furnishings. Everything was ideally laid out and having a large dishwasher was a real bonus. Direct access to the pool from the patio was great and it never got too busy and was always very clean.
We only rented a car half way through the trip to do some sightseeing because everything was within easy reach of the complex. There is a car rental office across the road from the apartment where you can also book golf and day trips. The secure underground parking facility is ideal.

We walked to the Falesia Beach most days which takes about 10 minutes and the waterfront area is about a 10 minute stroll in the evenings. We walked home after most nights out but taxis are unbelievably cheap at 3 euro!!
Our favourite restaurants were: Akvavit, Il Lampardo (on the waterfront), Dom Miguel for an authentic Portugese meal which was fantastic (opposite MacDonalds) and the restaurant on Sao Rafael beach/praia. Would recommend the balcony bar in the Lake Resort for Sundowners or a late night drink! For lunch all of the restaurants on Falesia beach were of a good standard.
We enjoyed day-trips to a lovely old town called Silves which has some lovely restaurants and Loule! We did Quarteira market which seemed to be the place to be on a Wednesday. Gale, a town on the way to Sao Rafael has an excellent top-notch (but very good value) supermarket called Apolonia. It is worth a trip just to see how fantastic a supermarket can be!
Overall can't say enough about our holiday but safe to say we WILL be back! Enjoy!

Fantastic apartment in great location.

Apartment was spacious, light and had great features, air con, drying room, cable tv, modern facilities, over sized bed in main bedroom, whirlpool bath, steam shower, secure underground parking...really fantastic.

The apartment is on the ground floor, literally 25 feet to the pool which is large and spacious and gives you lots of flexibility to go in and out of the apartment and pool, with the bonus that you can also keep a watchful eye on the kids! On odd days the pool area became quite busy, but never to the point of being crowded.

The location of the apartment was good, if you take the short cut a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and to a great mini-golf centre, 15 minutes to the heart of the marina. We didnt walk to the beach, I but I would guess it was a good 20 minute walk, 5 minute drive. The beach has plenty of sun beds / shades and is great for the kids, though the pool area at the apartment was so good we couldnt prise our son away to the beach for long!

Vilamoura is a great base for exploring the remainder of the Algarve, great apartment and we would definitely return here if we visit the Algarve again!

Great trips out: Zoomarine, Krazy World, Loule Market, Almancil Karting, Aquashow, Dolphin safaris at the Marina and a trip on "The Sea Rocket"

Marina restaurants recommended: La Fragata and Mayflower were our favourites (75-100 euros for 3), Cais I and Nosovo Italia slightly cheaper options with good quality menu and food.
