For a dream vacation in Tuscany's heart - the ' Chianti ' region - few miles from Florence and Siena - a landscape of vineyards, silvery olive groves, vast forests, colourful macchia choose the solitary 16th century privately owned 'Poderi Val Verde' with its various accommodations. Situated only 2 kilometres from the famous wine town Castellina in Chianti with shopping facilities and restaurants its starting point for other famous sites such as Florence, Siena, Greve, Radda, Gaiole, as well as San Gimignano, Lucca, Pistoia, Arezzo. Even Cortona, Perugia or Pisa are fast to reach; day trips by train or car to Rome, Milano or Venice no problem!. In this small family style hamlet our sophisticated guests will find nature, silence, sun, good food (cookery courses, fantastic wines) and an air of relaxation. All houses are surrounded by extended well cared gardens with hundreds of flowers, pots with lemon and orange trees, a children's playground and a large swimming pool (11x5,5m).

few week left - 2 weeks Aug, 2 weeks Sept 'Casa Capannina' is a cozy, very romantic semi-attached 2bedroom/2 bathroom (shower/WC) cottage with large living-room (open fire place, satellite TV, DVD player, wifi internet, ) and fully-equipped kitchen. Enjoy the sunrise on its sunny terrace, accessed through large window doors from the living room as well as kitchen area running along the whole house front. The cottage is set a bit aside from the other farmhouses thus guaranteeing maximum privacy. Like all of our other 4 accommodations also 'La Capannina' - has a rustic, typical Chianti countrystyle flair which is enhanced by its hand painted walls (warm colours in shades of yellow and peach )and beam sealings. Its access is by private road (with private parking). Only 2 steps lead to the house, or from living room to kitchen , ground floor bedroom also w/o steps, thus this house may also be partly suitable for slightly handicapped peop

I have stayed in several of the apartments over the last few years and have been delighted with them all. The location is, of course, the beautiful Chianti hills--nothing better. I have traveled and lived all over Italy and find nowhere more lovely. The grounds are well kept, the apartments furnished with everything you could possibly need, and if something is lacking, simply ask. Ulrike is a gracious hostess. She will assist you in making touring and/or transportation arrangements; she is a terrific cook of the local cuisine, and I recommend that you participate in her Saturday night suppers served family style around a huge table indoors or outdoors depending on the weather (it is a wonderful chance to meet other travelers from all over the world and there are always others at the table who speak your language); or she will leave you completely to yourself if you do not wish the company of others. I have recommended it to friends both Italian and foreign, and all have been delighted with their stays.

I highly recommend this property we stayed in the cottage for 2 and it was wonderful, very quiet lovely views and Ulrika's cooking is great and I would go back just to tatse her dinners, we will deffinately return

Schöne geräumige Wohnung mit sehr gut ausgestatteter Küche. Selbst verregnete Tage sind vor dem Kamin Erholung. Vermieterin ist äujßerst hilfsbereit und hat immer gute Tipps auf Lager.
Das Tal ist genial: ruhig und doch zwischen Siena und Florenz absolut zentral gelegen.

Nachdem wir vor 8 Jahren schon einmal hier Urlaub machten, glaubten wir, eine Steigerung sei nicht mehr möglich! Sie war es aber doch! Super gepflegtes Außenterrain, rustikale urgemütliche Ferienwohnung mit Kamin, Terrasse, vollständige, moderne und gepflegte Ausstattung, einschließlich zeitgemäßer Küchengeräte. Beratung über Ausflüge, Reservierung von Restaurantplätzen, Kochkurs, geführte Wanderung, kulinarische Highlights beim Begrüßungsessen, Spitze! Ohne Probleme wurden Tickets in Florenz vorbestellt ( Uffizien, Accademia), Tips für Anreise nach und Parken in Florenz waren Zeit und G(o)eld wert. Super Kontakt zur Besitzerin, jederzeit ansprechbar und auskunftsbereit, fundierte Landeskenntnisse, polyglott..., was will man mehr? Man fühlt sich vom ersten Tage an wie zu Hause. Bitte immer ein Quartier für uns freihalten, mit uns und unseren Freunden ist jederzeit zu rechnen!
