Villefranche-sur-Mer is a sleepy little village located next to Nice on the eastern side. It has one of the most beautiful harbours on the Cote d'Azur. This Mediterranean port was a pirate's cove in olden times and still retains the charm of that era. Nice is a 10-minute drive, Monaco 25 minutes and about 45 minutes to Cannes. All of these towns can be reached by train as well.
