Overlooking the French countryside, and surrounded by woods, vineyards and sunflower fields, le Domaine du Grand Tourtre is an ancient fortified hamlet that has been transformed into a holiday residence. The gîte is tastefully furnished and decorated and comes with a fully equipped kitchen (dishes,dishwasher etc...), laundry room, Wifi internet access, and satellite TV. The 5 hectare residence encloses 2 tennis courts, a petanque square and a playground, offers a splendid view of the Château de Talleyrand and is just a stone's throw away from Chalais, the local market town. You can play tennis, volleyball, football, croquet, badminton and darts on site. Bikes are for rent on site as well.
