A Charingito which serves excellent food and drinks all day long is a mere 5min walk The complex has a Restaurant and Information Office. Playa del Cristo with its shallow sandy beach and 2 Charingitos is great for kids . Estepona has a fab Port,and lots of town facilities. 2 Golf Courses nearby Sabanillas in the other direction has lots of Supermarkets and local market days, bars and restaurants on the beach front. 10 min drive Selwo Safari Park offers a excellent day out,so does 2 major Aqua Parks. Excursions can be arranged to Morocco by the fast ferry or to Gibralter to tour the Rock and see the apes. Well we were there for two weeks and the place was as described on the site.

The place was spot less. You could see it was well looked after. We were lucky as Ms. Barber the owner, was in town and was really forthcoming in her help. Al her recommendations from restaurants to shopping to sight seeing were perfect.

Infact, I am going to recommend to a friend who was wondering where to go for a week or 10 days...

I wish I could add in a negative lisp. But there was none. Would recommend any one to go there.......!

Best time for me, the early morning breeze on the veranda while having my tea!

Great Week By the Sea

Great apartment on three levels with fantastic views of the Med (10yds away) and all the way down to Africa and Gibraltar.

Apartment was very clean and everything was as described in the website.

We stayed for a week after spending time up in the mountains and loved the choice of wandering down to the empty beaches (choice of sandy spots within 5 min stroll) or going along to one of the many pools on the complex. When we were there at the beginning of August the beaches were nearly empy and the pools were fairly quiet as well.

Less than 5 mins walk away from the apartment is also a great beach bar where we had a fantastic meal one afternoon while sitting watching the waves crashing in on the shore.

Estepona is about 5-10mins by car for lots more restuarants and you are only about 1 hour from Gibraltar and Tarifa where we spent a day wandering around the old town.

Only minor downside was not having a BBQ, but we made up for that by going out more, and the slight noise of the main road which is just outside the complex. This however did not detract from the great time we had and will certainly consider going back again next year.
