Summer Availability! New 3 bed, 2 bath attached villa is located on the prestigious El Raso development which is within the La Mata national park, a conservation area located only 5 mins drive from the blue flag beaches of Guardamar. Only 30 mins drive South of Alicante airport Guardamar . Well positioned for numerous golf courses, shopping, restaurants, bars, local villages & excellent beaches and walking distance to local Sunday market. Our location is peaceful but still within a short stroll to bars, restaurants & supermarket and a short drive to Torrevieja town. Facilities include hot / cold air con, TV/DVD with a selection of DVDs for all ages, fully fitted kitchen making it ideal for self catering, large south facing patio, private parking and an excellent roof terrace with BBQ & covered gazebo where you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the neighboring salt lakes. The house shares a large communal pool set in well kept landscaped. Ideal for families and couples.

Lakeview Villa overlooks the salt lakes or Guardamar and is only 20 to 30 mins from Alicante airport. Taking the N332 coast road heading south for Cartagena and Torrevieja we are just past Guardamar main area and beach. El Raso is a new urbanization, which is in a central location with Cuidad Quesada just down the road. Guardamar can be reached by car in five mins and here you will find a nature park, which has play areas fir the children and also a small fair ground. There is also one of the best sandy beaches on the Costa Blanca and a promenade with shops and restaurants and beach bars. The livelier resort of Torrevieja with its marina, shops, bars and nightlife is about another 10 mins down the N332 coast road. Cuidad Quesada has bars, restaurants, banks, shops, supermarket & medical facilities. It also has a water park. Several Golf courses can be found within 10 to 15 mins. 2 mins from the villa is the la Laguna Hotel & Spa. You can book a day of body treatments here in luxury.

  • The master bedroom is an excellent size with built in wardrobes. It is located on the first floor and has a south facing furnished balcony which overlooks the national park lake. Next to the master bedroom is a second bedroom with twin single beds, again with its own build in wardrobes. These two bedrooms have the use of their own bathroom with bath & shower over. On the ground floor you will find the second double bedroom. This bedroom is ideal for family or friends and it has the use of a second bathroom which is located next to it.

For children: Fairgrounds – Guardamar (seasonal) and Torrevieja. Playgrounds – small areas with swings, slides etc on El Raso. Park of Nations in Torrevieja and park at Guardamar are excellent. Waterparks – nearest is Quesada which is pretty good, also at Torrevieja and Benidorm. Zoo – at Elche and Benidorm (swim with dolphins at Mundomar). Theme Parks – Benidorm has 3 great theme parks with rides to suit all tastes.

For Golfers: Golfers are catered for by the new course at Algorfa - La Finca and La Marquesa 5 minutes away at Quesada while the more established courses of Villamartin, Las Ramblas & Campoamor are just to the south of Torrevieja. Villamartin has an abundance of olive trees and well placed bunkers to make it a challenging course for players of all abilities. Las Ramblas is a stunning, but short course and is most challenging. High trees, natural fairways and ravines feature strongly in this memorable course. Campoamor is situated, in two valleys with magnificent views and with a beautiful clubhouse to finish off the day (note: Campoamor requires a 36 or less handicap).

Good communications with Carolynn (owwner) before we went, all questions answered promptly which assisted our planning and knowing what we needed to take. Spot on directions too. Arrived at 9pm so used local garage for that night's essential supplies (as tipped by Carolynn). On arrival very impressed with villa and continued to be so for the whole 2 weeks. It suited us very well. Absolutely as described and pictured in the advert. So comfortable that we stayed in most nights dining al fresco on the sundeck and two other terraces. We particularly enjoyed the entrance door terrace area, which at night and in candle light was lovely and cool (and romantic of course). All in all a grat holiday and mainly down to the villa. Pam the cleaner is very nice too. Recommended, particularly for those who like to explore the area by car. We covered Santa Pola (30 mins) down to Los Ascavares on the Mar Menor (1 hr plus) but well worth a trip, avoiding AP7 unless you have lots of euro's for tolls.
