Villa Hermosa is an imposing three story villa with commanding views of the Catalan countryside and the sea. Located in a quiet urbanisation 2km from the centre of the historic village of Begur and 5 minutes drive from the wonderful beach at Aiguablava. Private 6 x 4 meter swimming pool, private gardens has children's play area with swings. The villa comprises five bedrooms and three bathrooms and is fully air conditioned. Sea views from several bedrooms. Tastefully furnished all new for 2007. Double garage with electric doors with an elevator leading to the two upper floors. Air conditioning, satellite TV, fully equipped kitchen. Our managers are an English husband and wife team who are available to assist during you stay.

Begur is the jewel in the Costa Brava's crown. It is pretty and charming with narrow winding streets yet it still manages to have plenty of restaurants cafes bars and boutiques without ever feeling commercialized. The beaches and coves around Begur are spectacular and the area is particularly popular with well healed families. Two of the worlds ten best restaurants are within a 30 minute drive. Catalan cuisine is world renowned and those who love their food and wine will love Begur. Inland there are wonderful medieval villages, Roman ruins Bisbal potteries and the great outdoors.

Golf Courses: There are many excellent golf courses nearby including the Catalunya PGA. Green fees are very reasonable and the standards of the courses compare favourably with anything else in Europe. Ask for a brochure on Golf in the Costa Brava.

Yacht Charter: We have friends that run a sailing school in nearby Port d'Aro and a skippered charter can be arranged for a day or a few days for up to 8 people.

Fine Dining: Three of the world's best 50 restaurants are Catalan and within a 35 minute drive. Some of the most exiting wines being produced in Europe come from this region. Why not ask us to arrange a visit to a winery or to a world class restaurant.

Perfect Getaway!

My parents, aunt,uncle and a couple of friends including my 6 year old god-daughter throughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Hermosa. The house was immaculate and furnished to a very high standard. Location was perfect set in mature woodlands but close to fantastic Begur and all its great eateries.
The house has a lower section which can sleep 4 which gives extra privacy if needed when sharing the house. Pool great and upper garden with swings delightful. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here!
Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind comments. We find that families enjoy staying at Hermosa because it has something for all ages. Being so close to Begur and all those restaurants is one of the reasons we chose the villa.

A great relaxing stay

We had a great stay at Villa Hermosa, its in a lovely location, spacious and well equipped. The owner was very helpful and provided advice on the best places to visit and eat out.
The area beautiful great beaches, walks and lovely old city of Gerona to visit near by.
Loved our stay here.
Owner's Response: Our handbook has been developed so that guests can get the most out of their stay. We are constantly updating it with new restaurants and suggestions. We are genuinely delighted that Ian and family enjoyed their holiday.

Hermosa Visit

We had a lovely time, the villa was spotless, the caretakers were the best- they helped us find the place when we were lost, the towns and beaches were full of good restaurants and beautiful beaches that we will never forget. It was the absolute icing on the cake for our trip to Portugal and Spain! Your villa came at the end of almost 3 weeks traveling and we loved every moment of it! We hope to go back one day. Thank you for renting to us.
