Casa Berlin is a luxury 4 bedroom/4 bathroom (2 en-suite) villa, sleeping 8 (+2), located in an enviable position in Praia da Luz. Located on the quieter side of Luz with sea views and within easy walking distance of the beautiful beach of Praia da Luz, restaurants, shops and supermarket. Built in 2002, it has a private pool treated with salt, a large private, well kept, lawned garden with large covered BBQ & patio furniture. The Villa also benefits from central heating and large log fire making it suitable for out of season holidays. It is situated only 100m back from the sea. It also has games rooms in the basement kitted for the use of guests with table tennis, a large slate bed pool table, football table and darts board. 5 to 10 mins drive to 3 golf courses. Sleeps 8 in 3 double and 1 twin room, but can accommodate two add. people on comfortable single put-me-ups. All bedrooms have wardrobes and their own balcony/terrace. The kitchen is well equipped. Laundry room in basement.

The Villa is located to the quieter (West) side of Praia da Luz, about 100m back from the sea and a 10 min (800m) stroll from the beautiful beach of Praia da Luz, supermarket, shops and restaurants. There are three golf courses within a 10min drive - the nearest being Boa Vista which is located between Luz and Lagos. The beach hosts a series of water sports but there is also a new marina in the adjacent medieval town of Lagos. Cape St Vincent and the West Coast surf is just 20 minutes away.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are for up to 8 person occupancy. A discount of £100 per week is available out of season for occupancy of 4 persons or fewer.

    Preferred change over day is Saturday, but if not convenient please inquire.

    Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Payment in Euros also accepted.

    Central heating is available at an additional £110 per week. Alternatively or in addition, logs for the beautiful, modern, fanned log fire are available at £35pw.

    Extra persons may be accommodated at £25 ppw- please inquire.
  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a booking. The balance is due 4 weeks prior to arrival. An additional security deposit of £150 is required together with the balance. This will be refunded within 21 days of departure. Cancellation up to 4 weeks prior to the start date of the holiday will incur loss of deposit only. Less then 4 weeks prior 100% of the full payment is due.

Notes: There is a 42' Plasma TV in the lounge. In addition to lounge & dining room there is a sun room/garden room. There are a total of three terraces on the ground floor, all with sea views, one of which is set with tables and chairs and is ideal for breakfasts, another has a bistro table and two chairs and is ideal for that quiet cup of coffee.. The ground floor hosts Bedroom 1 plus en-suite Bathroom and is suitable for those not wishing to climb stairs. There are three separate steps to negotiate on the garden path and therefore the property is not suitable for wheelchairs.

I can highly recommend the Villa. I have just returned from a week's holiday with my family, 3 generations covering ages from 19- 82 and the villa was suitable for all. It was very clean and all essentials were provided. One of the party was using a wheelchair but the villa was very wheelchair friendly. The village is only a five minute stroll away and there are many resturants to choose from. Plenty of supermarkets if you want to stay at the villa for a barbeque and a lovely beach 10 minutes from the villa. The maids came midweek and the gardner turned up but both were very discreet and in no way interupted our holiday. Very enjoyable and perfect location.

We were a party of 4couples and 2 children staying at the casa berlin and it was everything that was said in owners direct.it has plenty room for everyone. The pool area with garden is lovely and it is quite a big pool for a villa,nice for a dip.the sports room in the basement is good for the kids to get out the sun for a while (my grandson is beating me at table tennis now) There is a nice 5min walk in to the town of Luz and beach so the villa is in an excellant position We would recomment the villa to family and friends and would love to go back ourselves it is a beautiful villa and a good base to visit other parts of portugal.

We had a lovely holiday and a great time - there were 8 of us sharing the villa but it didn't feel full up. The facilities here were excellent - the 2 youngest kids used the games room which was alos good for the adults to coll down if the pool seemed like too much effort! Luz is a lovely village with everything we needed although the distance to the beach is deceptive!

Great holiday villa - Praia du luz

We (2 families) had an excellent time at Casa berlin, Praia da Luz.
The villa was more than well equiped within easy walking distance of Luz centre.
The villa was clean and well maintained. The gardens were beautiful and again well looked after. The pool was excellent, a well needed cool down with all that sun!
With such a lovely base, we did not have to travel far, but did venture out to Lagos and Burgar. Lagos was definitely worth a visit for the children to spend their euros and burgar had a lovely beach. It was great to just be lazy and soak up the sun by the pool in the lovely garden.

We tried most of the restaurants in luz, either at lunch or dinner and can reccomend O Pocco, good food and excellent views. Again the restaurant in the fort has excellent views and the food was good.
The restaurant on the end of the beach was also lovely, great service and something for everyone to choose, the swings outside were also good to keep the children entertained whils the adults enjoyed a jug or two of sangria!

We all tried out the water sports, the Flyfish and the Rings that get pulled along by a boat. it was only 10 euros per person for 15 minutes, which was long enough!

All of the communications with the owner has been excellent and I would definitely reccomend the villa to anyone wishing to holiday in portugal. I think that we will also return to Luz in the near future.

Overall an excellent holiday, my best ever yet!

A wonderful property

This is a fantastic property to rent and I would recommend it to anyone particularly 2 families sharing. There is plenty of space and each bedroom has its own balcony with table and chairs. The house is very well furnished and I honestly cannot think of anything that it did not have. The house was spotless and the maid service was just great. The manager, Laurinda, was very helpful and called to make sure everything was ok. The gardens were just lovely and there is plenty of shade round the house. The house is about 10 minutes from Luz and it is a lovely stroll on a summer's evening. My husband really enjoyed the barbecue area and it was just lovely sitting out and relaxing in the evenings. We even had a barbecue breakfast!! The only disappointing thing is that the house is already rented out for the same period next year!! I cannot recommend this property enough and hope to rent it again in the future.
