River Cottage is excellently positioned on the edge of the tranquil village of Boudreville bordering the Chatillonnais forests in North Burgundy. Ideally placed to discover and explore the region or simply relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! On entering the main entrance gates, you are welcomed with the beautiful countryside of the Aube valley with its forests and rolling hills. It has its own private south facing garden with secluded patio area and is fully enclosed making it safe for small children. There is further access to a private 2 acre park of meadows, orchards and wooded areas and the river Aube which runs alongside the grounds of the property providing a haven for wildlife (trout, deer etc). Beyond the grounds of the property, you will find forest tracks suitable for cycling or walking. The 3 bedroom cottage has been recently renovated retaining many original features such as exposed stone walls and oak beams and providing a high level of modern comfort.

Perfect for a quiet holiday

Set on the side of a stream in a sleepy and very small North Burgundy village, this is the perfect place for a quiet but scenic holiday. There are plenty of walks in the area, and it's a short distance to the autoroute for visiting the wonderful cities of Dijon and Troyes (both about a 1hr 15m drive), and is, of course, surrounded by wine growing areas such as Chablis. The cottage has been recently renovated and has three good-sized bedrooms, a large kitchen and a smallish living room. There is a good garden that also leads down to a lovely picnic/seating area by the stream.

The owners are very welcoming and, I am sure, will do anything to make your stay a success.
