Recently purchased by the present owner as a future retirement home it is now available as a perfect holiday retreat from which to explore Nice and the surrounding Riviera. From its classy glass doored foyer, with highly polished brass to the elegant fully restored French elevator this is your chance to live French life as the French do. Enjoy several glasses of wine on the large balcony which being on the 6th floor allows extensive views over the city and the hills beyond. Le theirs offers an excellent all year round base to explore Nice and the fantastic Cotes d' Azur. The apartment is close to the main train station Gare de Nice Ville and makes it perfect for exploring the Riviera by rail. Canne, St Tropez, Monaco, Menton and even Italy are so close and train fares are really good value. The Central city location is within easy reach of all amenities, The new tramway is 5 minutes walk away on Jean Medicin, Nice’s main shopping area a regular bus service stops within 100m of the front door. For as little a one Euro you can easily reach the promenade and old town, Or for the more energetic the beach is 10 minutes walk and the old town 15 minutes by foot. The owners have provided two new pedal cycles with helmets and this makes exploring Nice and the local area even easier and so much fun. Hiring a bike can cost around 10 euros per day so this is excellent value for money. Car hire is available within 5 minutes walk and parking is available at the local covered car park

1st September 2009 to 7th September 2009 : This has been our first stay in France and our first self catering apartment we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here at Le Thiers due to the home from home environment you have provided. The personal touches have been second to none i.e. DVD’s, music, literature you have provided etc.We have been very impressed with Nice, we have made good use of the transport links to visit both Cannes and Monaco for 1 euro on the bus. The trams have been vital to our stay as the have eased our poor feet ! The bikes were a Godsend and we thoroughly enjoyed using them to explore the city. However do recommend more cushioned seats for those who have a more delicate derriere due to the lack of cycling at home! We enjoyed the food both in and out of the apartment and recommend Claire Fontaine and Fennochios for ice cream afterwards. Cours Seleya is great for soaking up the atmosphere. Have loved our stay and will sing Le Thiers praises back home Best Wishes Kirsty and Scott, Ayrshire, Scotland

7th September to 12th September: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your apartment it was a great way to end our month long holiday in Europe. We appreciated all of the additional touches to make our stay more comfortable, such as the music disks, dvd's and Beaujolais. The location of the apartment was quite convenient for our frequent travels and the accomodations quite comfortable. Our suggestions would be better lighting in the bathroom as once it is dark outside it is difficult to see in the bathroom. Other than that we praise your attention to detail and great length you have gone to in order to make our holiday enjoyable Regards J Martinez & R Renzetti - Chicago. We stayed at this appartment in January 2009. It was very well presented with every thing you need and more. The best rental accomodation I have stayed in and great value for money.The bikes were a real bonus and ment the seafront was only a quick 5 min pedal away. The location was great and only a couple of mins away from the train station. Being a country girl I did find it a bit noisy at night but this was only traffic noise and is to be expected in a city center location. We hope to return to this Nice for more french lessons and we would certainly return to this appartment.

Visit to Nice for the Monaco Grand Prix May 2008

Our first visit to Nice and what a fantastic place enhanced by a visit to the Cannes film festival and the Monaco Grand Prix. The apartment life suited us and gave us a freedom hotels could never match it also allowed us live cheaply by dining in and the bicycles were well used, we even cycled to Monaco on the Thursday, (french rail strike)
The apartment was eaxactly as described, well equipped and well located and we will definately be back
