Located in the southern Loire Valley we are ideally located to visit many of the vineyards, historic towns & chateaux we are surrounded by in this rich region.
From 5 min away in le Grand Pressigny, La Celle Guenand, La Guerche, Chatelier, Boussay, Descartes
To under half an hour to Angles-sur-Anglin, La Roche Posay, Loches, Montresor.
To many of the more famous in well under an hour Chenonceau, Amboise, Blere, Richelieu, Chinon, The Brenne National Park, Vouvray, Azay-le-Rideau, Tours, Poitiers, Usse, Villandry.
For those wanting to make the most of the time available we can recommend local tours, those who have experience, in depth local knowledge, enthusiasm and small groups.

Out and About from Les Limornieres:
From the front door at Les Limornieres you can discover the wonderful Southern Touraine countryside. - The lane offers farm produce direct from the farm including, Apples, juice, goats cheese, foie gras. Fruit, vegetables & eggs on site.
We offer bikes to borrow & there are many different circular routes and marked tours which lead you around the local villages via the three rivers which make up the valley. (We have 6 adults bikes, three child, two tow/trail bars) On foot there are three or four different circular routes which take you down into the village depending on how far you wish to walk.
Horse riding is available at Etableau (5 min by car)
Fishing is available in the village on the Claise, at Descartes or Lesiny on the Creuse and many other local points. Alex is either happy to help you get yourself a permit for you to go off & discover or offers a fully catered/guided day of fishing local rivers and/or lakes.
Excellent local cookery courses from lunch to a week.
