Coal and logs for fire included – views through the valley from sitting room, sun lounge, kitchen, gardens.
Outside:
Grounds sheltered, private garden with terrace and wildlife pond – care with small children please. Fruit garden - please go ahead and pick raspberries from the fruit garden when in season. Ample parking.

Nearby is the Elan Valley Reservoir and Visitor Centre - a must for walkers and sightseers and cyclists will enjoy the scenic cycle track which runs from Rhayader to the dams - bikes can be hired in Rhayader. The Red Kite Visitor Centre close by is also a must. These beautiful birds of prey are fed daily here - a truly memorable display. Llandrindod Wells is a short drive – a charming spa town which has an open air market, small individual shops and hosts the world famous Victorian Festival at the end of August. Builth Wells is also nearby – the annual Royal Welsh Show is held here, and there is a theatre/arts centre. The Mid Wales Shakespeare centre (Living Willow theatre) is a short distance. Wye Valley walks are available close by and to the west and north the Cambrian Mountains are still one of Wales' most special places - a peaceful, largely unspoiled landscape. For days out, just under an hour is Hay-on-Wye with its famous book fair and also the Brecon Beacons National Park.
