Located in a small hamlet in the centre of the Bastide-town triangle of Monpazier, Villerreal and Beaumont. Secluded valleys, rolling countryside and oak forests near the river Dropt. 10 minute walk to Tourliac lake for fishing and walks. Chateau Biron, a medieval chateau high in the hillsides, is a big tourist destination. Bergerac, a large town, is 30 mins away. The beautiful Sarlat is also only a short drive away. Cadouin, another local Bastide town, is home to a famous medieval monastery. Monpazier, rated the most beautiful Bastide town in France, has excellent restaurants and the Bastide towns have active markets with locally sourced wines and delicacies such as pates. The rivers of Dordogne and Lot provide activities such as canoeing and boat trips. Golf is available near Monpazier, as well as other activities such as Tennis. For nature lovers there are 60 different species of wild bird including black red starts and barn owls on site, deer and heron, and orchids on site.
