Three newly renovated cornish country cottages. Modern facilities and period charm surrounded by our own farmland, no near neighbours but centrally located for exploring Cornwall. The cottages are all similar in style, they all have exceptionally spacious living and excellent quality furniture and fittings. An idyllic tranquil hideaway perfect for relaxation.

The Longbarn is a single storey cottage, the master bedroom is very large with exposed beams, carpeted floor and a kingsize four poster bed, the second bedroom is a good size, carpeted with twin beds that can be zipped together to make a super kingsize bed, both bedrooms have TV's with digi boxes. The rest of the barn has oak wood floors, the bathroom has a corner bath with jacuzzi jets and a power shower over. The kitchen is well equipped and forms part of a very large room with dining area and lounge. The lounge has a wood burning stove, and the whole room benefits from vaulted ceilings giving a huge amount of space and light. The garden has a gravel BBQ area and a lawn with established trees and shrubs. Towels and linen are provided. Dogs are welcome in this cottage.

Just a mile down the road you can go underground at Poldark Mine to experience the true nature of the county's mining industry. Wonderfull West Cornwall

Truly a GREAT location but not for those people who like to be in the hustle and bustle of it all. The Farm can only be accessed via very narrow country lanes which can become quite interesting with a large family car. However, this is forgotton once you have arrived. The surroundings are wonderfull. Rolling fields, wildlife and if you are a horse lover you will NEVER want to leave. The accomodation was superb. Everything is there. Even a Cream Tea on arrival which was a nice touch. It felt very much a home from home, and after a hectic day out sightseeing, it really was a relief to return to such a cosy enviroment. We were lucky with the weather, but the whole family agreed that because the Longbarn was so nice, it was really not a hassle to spend some time enjoying the experience of just being their.
Our only regret was not being properly introduced to the owners who lived in the main farmhouse. There were many questions about the farm we would have liked to have asked but never got the chance. If you are a couple looking for a quiet retreat or a family looking to experience the joys of country living then this is an ideal place for you to visit. If however your last holiday was at Butlins and you loved that experience, then this is NOT for you.....

They were wonderful

This was a lovely cottage in a very quiet location - you do need a car. It had everything and more that we needed they even provided fairy cakes on arrival.

It was clean the surroundings were wonderful and even though it rained the board games, magazines and books they provided kept us busy.

When my husband took ill and was admitted to hospital in Truro Vicky and her partner were wonderful and supportive, could not have asked for more.

Good for families of older people wanting a short break. The cottage we rented was on the level but if you are disabled there are no grip bars or hoists or roll in shower to my knowledge.

Excellent cooking facilities if you did not want to get into the car to get a take away or go out for a meal which makes it wonderful for young families or if you are watching a budget.

Highly recommended.

Description of propery was accurate with regard to layout, location etc. Very clean, well maintained, everything we could have needed was supplied including a cake, fresh milk tea, coffee, sugar etc. Ideal for the dogs, could walk straight out into the surrounding countryside. Local pubs provided good food. The New Inn and The Star Location was very rural but only 0.65 miles from the nearest main road. Owner very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend to a friend.
