Rue d’Alésia is one of the nicest streets of the 14th arrondissement of Paris. It is 2 minutes walk from the nearest subway, 15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower and Châtelet, the city centre. Every Parisian knows this street because of the brand shops such as Sonia Rykiel, who sell their stock at very interesting prices. This 65 sqm duplex apartment, tastefully furnished, offers 3 bedrooms (one double bed and 4 simple beds), 2 bathrooms and a kitchen equipped with a washing machine and usual kitchenware. The apartment is really charming with appearing wood beams and high roof, it is ideal for a family and shopping trip to Paris. Double bed, linens, blankets, pillows and towels are provided. Possible for 7 persons with additive bed. Fully furnished, including cable TV, telephone and internet (WIFI), the apartment is very clean, quite and sunny.

for our family of 6 people it was very nice .the place is in the center of Paris and we appreciate to have 3 separate room and a living room without bed with a big sofa .2 bath room was nice too. around the house, restaurant and antiquity . we really have nice time and will may be come back in Paris by that way . we recommand you to go to the "puce" who is a fantastic antiquity market , we bought many things to take back in germany

the property is small, musty, old with peeling paints. The room is on the third floor ( no elevator) and the stairs are narrow and steep. The attic room has low ceiling that bumps your head if you are not careful. ( we have bumped our head a few times). the location is near the subway and Mr. Cohen is very helpful. The price is cheap though.

Our family of 4 adults had a lovely week at this apartment in September '08. It was very comfortable, good beds and plenty of hot water. The kitchen was a little dark, but had all the basic essentials for holiday cooking. The apartment is up 3 flights of steep stairs, but otherwise was easy to get to, and the landlord very helpful. The only problem was the very squeaky floorboards in the main room, which probably annoyed the people below more than us!
It's on quite a busy street, so fairly noisy from traffic at the front, but plenty of interesting shops and eating places. Also very convenient for the metro, and we walked into the city centre a couple of times (about 50 minutes), past the Luxembourg Gardens. We travelled by Eurostar, and public transport, and didn't miss the car at all.
