Notes: Due to the apartments close proximity to both the beach and golf facilities it is suitable for rental by families, couples or groups of golfing buddies. Remember the cost per week is for the unit and as it sleeps up to 6 people, the cost per head is significantly less than a hotel based stay. The children's pool and the communal pool offer a safe bathing environment and enjoy a sunny aspect all day. The apartment has both hot and cold air-conditioning, which caters for all seasons, and the lounge boasts a 32' LCD TV and DVD player, together with a luxury leather sofa and sofa bed. The views from the large penthouse rooftop terrace are to die for.

Nearby areas of interest - TAVIRA: The town has since been rebuilt with many fine 18th Century buildings along with its 37 churches - in fact it is referred to as the town of churches! The town church of Misericórdia dates back to 1541 and Palácio de Galeria is a location of historical interest besides being a cultural centre. A Roman bridge links the two parts of the town across the River Gilão. The church of Santa Maria do Castelo is built on the site of a Mosque and in it are the tombs of Dom Paio Peres Correia and his seven faithful Knights.. The areas around are still rural and have not been spoilt by over development. The immediate beach for this town lies past the salt pans and is reached by a ferryboat.

Golf: The Algarve … a mere two or three hours flight from most European capitals and because of its unique conditions for tourism, its diversified quality and the geographical concentration of its courses, it makes the Algarve region one of Europe’s main, sought after, top class golf destinations. In fact the Algarve was voted Best Golfing destination in the World last year. The Algarve golf courses are equipped with all facilities that are needed for playing golf, making the sport one of the region’s highlights. None of the existing golf courses is more than 15 km from the coast. The Algarve's mild climate and low humidity are the delight of golfers from all over the world, who come to play golf on the Algarve golf courses all year round.

Modern Apartment Close to traditional Village

The Apartment is located as part of a new development completed over the last couple of years. A number are available to rent from different owners and the one we chose was we feel in the best position enjoying a full roof terrace and a separate balcony both with table and seating. It is close to the local rail station. Whilst we had a car it would be simple to get to the apartment by taxi from the airport to Faro and then a single train journey to within 3 or 4 minutes of the apartment. We enjoyed our stay in a well equipped and comfortable apartment. The only thing missing was a coffee machine. Information and directions provided by the owners were excellent and there is a good selection of reasonably priced local restaurants within walking distance. We did not travel far afield but for those wanting to be more active there certainly seems plenty of places to see and things to do. We really enjoyed a relaxing time.

Great base for a wonderful holiday

The very first thing we want to mention is the warm welcome we received from John (Rental management company). We arrived 45 mins late but he was waiting for us and was very friendly with us and our children.
The apartment meet our expectations and the pool is fantastic and so close but, in hindsight a welcome pack on arrivasl i.e Milk, Bread, Tea Bag etc would have made it complete after our long journey. Living space was good and the air conditioning in each room was just what was needed. The double bed was bigger than we expected and very comfortable.
The entire apartment was well maintained and the roof terrace was the icing on the cake and was well used by all of us as the sun disappeared from the poolside.
Would highly recommend this apartment and visits to the Jolly Sailor & O' Monde restuarants, train trip to Tavira (station only 5 mins walk away) and the exceptional beach at Cabanas De Tavira.
A final note that all through this booking we received great communication about all aspects of the booking process and the intial queries we had.

Great Holiday

We visited this apartment late June, and found everything as stated on the details. Good sized kitchen which is very well fitted out, ample linen which is always nice, lovely apartment. Fantastic swimming pool. Location great if you enjoy the local Golf courses, and only 15 mins steady stroll into Cabanas.

Had the most fantastic time staying at the apartment in Tavira - travelled most of the Algarve from here. Cabanas beach was just like being in the Carribean! The people are friendly and the place is so pretty. Would definately go back and since we live in Spain we are considering our options regarding moving to Portugal!!

WOW, what a great relaxing 5 days we had at your magnificant apartment.- thank you for letting us stay. We found the complex to be immaculate and well looked after. The apartment was furnished to the highest standards and very comfortable for all the family. my advice to anyone reading this, just book it, you won't be disappointed.
