It should be stressed that this property is a little bit different from your normal 'pristine' brand new villa, in that it is 40 years' old and was built in the very Spanish style, typical of this time, with lots of characterful little features, which one does not see anymore in the modern villa. It has been extensively refurbished, but great care has been taken to retain all of the original design features. It really does feel more like a home, rather than a holiday rental villa, and we hope to keep the character of our house, which we are confident people will like.

The villa is located in a quiet area, on the west side of Javea, with stunning views of the local landmark mountain, Montgo. It is an hour's drive from Alicante and Valencia airports, and a short drive from the old town, the sandy beach, and the port, and is surrounded by interesting walking country. The lively, bustling town of Benidorm, with its exciting night-life, is 20 miutes away.There are several golf courses in the area, and a good tennis club, as well as several supermarkets, with a great selection of seafood.There is a wide selection of all types of restuarants, catering for every possible taste.Other picturesque towns in the area include Denia, Calpe, Moraira, and Altea.There is plenty of watersport activity, including sailing, scuba diving, and waterskiing.The scenery in the surrounding mountains is spectacular, with a great variety of flora and fauna.The local mountain, Montgo, is an exciting area for walking and exploring, with fantastic views of the countryside.

The second bathroom was newly built in December 2007, and has a walk-in shower, with a double sink. The third bathroom was also newly built in December 2007, and also has a walk-in shower, and a double sink. All bathrooms have a lot of natural light .

The main bedroom has two beds, which can be a double or two singles. the second 'main' bedroom has a large double bed. The other 2 bedrooms have both twin beds. All bedrooms have a lot of natural light.

Notes: Although children are very welcome, it is important to note that the pool is deep and may not be suitable for very young children, who would have to be closely supervised in the pool area. The property is on a single floor, but the garden has a few steps and different levels. The main access to the property is by a few steps at the front, but access can also be 'on the flat' through the kitchen patio door.
