The resort is and ideal location to enjoy year round leisure activities with breathtaking views of famous Swiss mountain ranges including the 4000m peaks of Matterhorn & Dent-Blanche. There are bars shops and restaurants close to the apartment and at Les Collons 1850/1900 just a short walk away. Getting there is easy by plane, train, bus or car - Les Collons is around 2 hours from Geneva and only 30 minutes from Sion which has its own airport and major train station frequent direct trains by TGV to Geneva & Milan.A regular bus service runs from Sion train station to Les Collons and there is a free ski-bus in winter. Sion bus station is Switzerland's road network hub with connections to Switzerland's largest cities and major European destinations.

There are 412 km of slopes,100 ski lifts, free ski bus, Swiss Ski School, paragliding, sledging, snowpark, children's ski school, nursery, 2 cross country trails and 7km of marked winter walks.

Summer: As well as superb winter sports you’ll find a full range of activities including hiking, mountain-biking tennis horse riding & golf (7 World Class courses in Valais) There are 600km of marked trails and 35km of mountain bike trails. The region also boasts outstanding spas, cultural interests such as Euseigne’s Pyramids, The Bisses, The barrage “Grande Dixence”, historic chapels , mountainside vineyards & Sion the oldest town in Switzerland.

Golf: Sion Golf course is only 25 minutes away open all year round and well priced. 40 minutes away on the slopes at Cranz Montana is the beautiful Crans-sur Sierre championship course - worth a visit. Excellent Ski Apartment - Highly recommended

Had a great week in this apartment with all the details proving to be exactly as described - a rarity in our experience of ski apartments. It was in top condition and extremely well built, justifying the high spec comments in the details. A very large sitting room, well equipped modern kitchen, 2 good bathrooms, and good sized bedrooms (one with bunk beds). Also a huge veranda with views right across the valley - and the promised high spec Jacuzzi. The apartment was quiet at night being situated at the end of the row of apartments in that part of Les Collons. A small supermarket was 20-30m up the road and a very nice bar and restaurant a further 20-30m on at the start of the main village centre.

From a skiiing perspective it was the best situated apartment we have stayed in being a genuinely 50m walk to the Trabanta chairlift - a 4 person chairlift taking you straight up to the centre of the Thyon ski runs. Our 7 year old daughter had no trouble walking out of the apartment and to the chairlift each day, and also managed the run back down to the chairlift at home time. There is a ski pass office at the entrance to the chairlift making for an easy first day, and also a ski hire shop in the village.

We flew into Geneva and hired a car - very good car rental arrangements in Geneva airport and it took a little over 2 hours to get to Les Collons using the motorway around the north side of Lake Geneva. Going the other way we went round the south side of the lake - longer journey of 3 1/2 hours but actually very nice as you are on smaller roads and go right beside the lake, popping in and out of France as you go. If you have the time that is a really nice route.

All in all we would thoroughly recommend the apartment without hesitation to friends for either adult groups or families.

Our stay at Les Cimes was very pleasant indeed from start to finish, and I would highly recommend this apartment.

The accomodation was of an extremely high standard, probably one of the nicest I have stayed in for such a reasonable price. Everything was brand new, with all the amenities you could possibly expect from a modern apartment, including a flatscreen TV and Ipod music systems. The kitchen was also extremely well stocked with plenty of utensils and crockery. However, the gem of the apartment was the hot-tub on the the balcony overlooking the mountains. What better way to soothe those aching muscles after a hard day's skiing than having a long soak with a cold drink. Additionally, the apartment block was ideally located, just by the main chairlift from Les Collons, with the local supermarket just next door.

Management of the apartment was run by Thyon Immo, who provided a relaxed and efficient service. Additionally, the owner was also very helpful and ensured that we had all the information we required leading up to our stay, from travel information through to details about the resort itself.

The apartment is beautifully situated, close to the lift, and has magnificant views from all the rooms. It is very well appointed and comfortable. No shortage of hot water and always very warm. The jacuzzi is a brilliant extra after a day on the slopes, although the cover is quite heavy to manoevre on and off. The apartment is clean and well maintained. The owner provided good customer service, giving directions and advice on shops etc. The agents were welcoming and efficient, although lacking advice before we travelled. The linen they provided was worn and unattractive.
Local supermarket is next door and is well stocked with fresh bread, veg, fruit and meat. The choice of restaurants nearby is limited and expensive, but eating in was no problem as the kitchen has all that is requred in terms of equipment. Overall a very good choice of accommodation, and a very good holiday.

Wow, what a fantastic appartment! The description of the location, layout and facilities is totally accurate. The appartment was clean,well maintained with luxurious fittings,comfy beds, plenty of seating and a great kitchen.
The jacuzzi was a real bonus after a long days skiing.The ski locker room was also very useful.
Les Collons itself is quiet so if you want night life this is not the place for you.For our family we wanted a quiet resort, great skiing, lifts only a very short walk, a nice appartment,ski hire not too far away,a supermarket close by, a few places to eat out... Les Cimes surpassed all our requirements!! We hope to be back next year and will be bringing along some friends.
