Musty smelling, not spacious too much furniture,no telephone,no internet,ants running around cooker and counter tops,squirrels in roof space very frightening,beds and TV sofa made us itch bitten on legs by unknown insects,solar pool heating basic so pool cold,Air Con control had box that was locked over it,did get key after complaining,we have stayed in many Floridian homes this to us was the worse..needs a lot of updating.nicest thing was meeting the Handyman BJ and his Lady Carol really nice people

Reasonably priced bungalow

The decor was a little bit too personal for a rental property but was reaonably clean.

The property did need some running repairs and was a little bit shabby but was reasonably priced and the pool was lovely.

Nearby restaurants were the usual Florida restaurants - no really outstanding independent restaurants were found.

We were unable to visit the local beach as on our first visit it was "full" and on the second visit it was closed for repairs.

This really is Old Florida - so many lovely areas to visit away from touristic areas. Homosassa particularly was great. Kayaking with Manateesa great experience.
