Photos and Description of this Torre Pacheco holiday apartment Ground floor apartment in tranquil area but close to all amenities.

A two bedroom apartment on the edge of community overlooking agricultural land. It is on the edge of a Spanish village which has a small supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, bank and a few bars. Within 5-10 minutes drive you can get to Murcia airport, numerous beaches, restaurants, shops and 20 golf courses. The apartment is very comfortably furnished and provides everything you could possibly want including satellite TV with all UK channels & sports & movies, a DVD & a CD player & selection of DVD's, CD's books & games for your use. There is a private terrace with table & chairs for eating al-fresco. There is also a lower garden area with sun loungers which gets full sun in the afternoon & evening & is very safe for children as it has an electronic gate. There is a small community pool. Our main leisure area is in the process of being built. It will include a large pool with sliding roof for all year round use, a golf driving range & tennis courts.The pool will be in for summer 2010.

Nearest Airport: Murcia at 11 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Balsicas at 5 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: AP7 at 7 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 9.0 Kilometres
In a tranquil area but near to all facilities. Within 5-10 minutes drive you can get to Murcia airport, numerous beaches, restaurants, shops & 20 golf courses. The nearest cities are Cartagena which is 20 minutes drive & Murcia which is 30 minutes drive. The Mar Menor which is a big lagoon cut off from the Mediterranean is 10 minutes drive. It is shallow for quite a way out with very gentle waves so it is safe for children. The water temperature in the summer can reach 30 degrees. The beach area stretches for 7 kilometres and has been given 4 EC blue flags. The area is partly protected land so it is not too build up. There are quiet areas for walkers as well as commercial shopping centres nearby. There is also Terra Natura within 30 minutes drive which is an animal park where some of the profits go to animal protection. It also has a water park attached to it You can fly to Murcia with various airlines including Monarch, Easyjet, Ryanair & Jet2. Car hire rates start at £65 off pea

  • Deposit of £50 required to confirm the booking which we will retain if you cancel with less than eight weeks notice. Full payment required six weeks before commencement of holiday. The original £50 will be kept as a damages deposit and returned within two weeks of your return home.

  • We take bookings from any day of the week for any length of stay.
    Prices inclusive for four people, £10 extra per stay for fifth person.
    Special offers on longer stays, 10% discount on 2wks stays 15% for only two people, 20% discount on 3wks or longer.
    There is a supplement of £50 a week for Christmas and New Year.

Notes: Smoking is allowed on the terrace. There are sun loungers in the lower garden area. As it is a brand new apartment the pool area on site is not built yet but there is a new outdoor pool built at the local school last year.This is open to the public during July & August & costs 2euros to stay all day. It is 5 minutes walk away. We have been told that our on-site pool will be completed by the beginning of summer 2009 We provide all bedlinen and towels (except beach towels) a hairdryer, iron & ironing board.

We can arrange a welcome pack or hire of baby equipment. You will be met by our neighbour who looks after the property and gives you personal attention if you require help or advice. We are flexible on arrival and departure dates and times to fit in with your flights. We take bookings of anything from three nights to four months stay.

Golf: Although we are not on a golf course we have about 20 courses within 5-20 minutes drive. We are within 10 minutes drive of Polaris Worlds 'La Torre' golf course and Roda Resorts PGA designed course. A bit further afield within 20 minutes drive are La Manga Club and Villamartin.

If you are looking for a quiet location but not too far from major city's then this is the property for you. It is located in a small village but has all that you require, ie shops, hairdressers, bakery and several pubs. We would recommend that you hire a car to get about though.
The property is of excellent standard and as stated is like a home from home. No need to take travel iron's, hairdryer etc as this is all provided. This is the first time we have ever booked a holiday let and I cannot fault the owner Jan in any way. She had given us so much information regarding the area and the booking was so simple and hassle free. The property was very clean and well maintained and Jaqui the neighbour is very friendly and helpful.
During our stay we visited some local towns & villages and even found an Iceland Frozen Foods in San Javier which is useful for people that don't want to try the local food. I found driving around so easy as the roads are well sign posted and if I can't get lost then no one can. You are only driving distance from Murcia 20mins, Alicante 35-40mins, and Benidorm is just a bit further a field. I will definatley being returning and would highly recommend this property to friends and family. Next time I go I will be wanting to fenture out further maybe to Valencia or Barcelona. Thank you to the owners Jan & Paul & to Jaqui the neighbour for all you help and making us have such an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Our September Holiday 2009

Pat, Mike, June & Roy had a lovely holiday at the apartment in San Cayetano. It was an ideal size and everything was to hand. We did quite a bit of our own cooking and found all we needed was there. There is also
a very small but good supermarket in the village, together with a couple of bars and a restaurant. Just a short drive is the town of Los Alcazares, The beach there is lovely and very safe for children. There are numerous bars and restaurants and also a large supermarket. The San Cayetano property is well situated, in a very quiet part of the vllage.

We stayed at this apartment in June 2008 for 1 week. It was very clean and well maintained and had everything we needed for our stay. We were met on arrival by a neighbour who looks after it, she showed us round and gave us info on the area, she made herself available if needed during our stay but was not intrusive.
The complex was very quiet and when we were there no pool was available for our use.
We have stayed in Murcia before at Los Alcazares which has many restaurants, bars and a lovely clean beach with ample sunbeds and parasols. This is about a 15 minute drive from apartment so a hire car is a must in my opinion.
I would recommend it to friends wishing for a quiet holiday and willing to hire a car. Lovely apartment but very quiet location.
Owner's Response: When these guests stayed our apartment was only just completed.Since then a small pool has been built. They are at present building the rest of the leisure area which will include a large pool with a sliding roof for all year round use, a golf driving range & tennis courts. We have been told the pool will be completed by Easter 2010.
There are numerous beaches in the area the nearest of which is 10 minutes drive away.
We have had quite a few guests & family members who have not hired a car. They have not found it a problem as our friendly neighbour is happy to be a taxi service at any time of day for guests.
Our apartment is attached to a peaceful Spanish village but you can get to all facilities that you could possibly want within a 10 minute drive.
